I was lucky enough to visit Wales and England this past summer, from Los Angeles. I went to Glastonbury, meant to go the Tor, but couldn't find it. Spent most of my time at the Abbey. There is a hermit's garden, it was so calming. I loved the array of plants. In Somerset I stayed in a Landmark Trust property, Robin Hood 's Hut. When I traveled to Devon, I stayed in another Landmark trust Property, a 600 year old chapel. It was great at first, then I became convinced it was haunted, the strange noises in the kitchen could not be explained. Since I was traveling on my own, it made the experience uncomfortable. But the most mystical place I visited was the Brecon Beacons in Wales. Driving through the Beacons was like coming home. The magnitude of the scenery and the free roaming sheep, didn't catch a glimpse of the horses, is awe inspiring. I am new to the concepts of magick, but my intuition calls me to explore the realm. Your videos have been so enlightening. Thanks for opening a door for me.
If you like English Heritage places I would recommend Avebury stones in Wiltshire. It is Neolithic and as old as Stonehenge but much larger. There is a museum as well as a couple of witchcraft stores. Also in the New Forest is the village of Burley which has many Witchcraft stores and is associated with Sybil Leek who I suspect you have heard of.
Two magical places you will love. 1 - St Nectans Glen. It’s very near Tintagel, its a waterfall that flows through a rock with a big hole in it. Its very near to The Rocky Valley too which has ancient rock carvings. 2 - Totnes in Devon. It is basically the Glastonbury of Devon. Full of spiritual shops and there is a sacred spring called Leech Well. There are a number of community gardens and also a castle and museum. Just down the road is the fabulous Dartington garden and a little further along is Buckfast Abbey which is free and has beautiful gardens.
Yes! St. Nectan's Glen is a very spiritual place. I went there 12 years ago and had a powerful psychic experience. I had heard it was being sold and I was sad and just assumed it had been shut down to the public - but after I read your comment I looked on Google and it appears that it is open and better than before. I highly recommend it. I was not aware of the town in Devon, will put that on my list of places to visit.
I am a Yankee Doodle and spent 3 years in England. You did such a wonderful job on this video, interesting, informative, and beautiful. It made feel homesick because of all the memories it brought back to me as I watched as well as showing me places that I did not see and experience. Thanks.
I live in north Cornwall. The county has a deep witchcraft history which I love and the moors are are magical in themselves. I live next to the church in my town and hear the bells on a Sunday but it is really nice, they are not too loud. The best side to this is the old graveyard and the yew trees surround my garden which is a definite plus for me!
Love this video ♥️ I live in south Cornwall, and I’m in love with the ancient sacred sites of West Penwith, it’s dense with stone circles, holy wells, standing stones, remains of ancient villages.. It is absolutely worth a visit if you come down this way again x
Thank you so much for the Journy. My favorite place that is local to me is Salem Mass in the Usa. There is a store that I love the most called The Great Hexpectations. A lovely small Witch Shop. also in the Usa.
Have you ever been to Burley in Hampshire New Forest? The whole village is full of witchcraft shops in legacy of a witch that lived there in the 50s/60s before she moved to America. Every year they have a fairy festival too - you would love it as a guest or a vendor!
Love the video Hearth and so glad you had a wonderful birthday. Without a doubt, Glastonbury is my favourite place to visit too. I also love visiting York city, great place to visit if you love history.
Happy belated birthday! If you are ever in North Carolina, USA, you should visit the Biltmore House in Asheville. Known as America’s Castle, it is a beautiful place to visit! It is said to be haunted and I sense spirits in certain places in the house (castle)!
We must be twin souls I love History and architecture as well. When I was a teenager I would ride the buss all over town just to look at the architecture of houses in buildings strange child, I know lol
Meant to say HB on the 1st, as it's mine too (back in 1973 lol), got distracted hanging out with my sisters. Idk if the ❤ of history is a cancerian thing but same here, studying hx & my trip to England, Scotland and Ireland was insanely amazing. Thank you for showing more amazing views of that gorgeous country!
Thank you for this fabulous video, I was so excited when it popped up to view. I too get that feeling when in Glastonbury. 🖤💞🖤🍄🍄 Ace earrings by the way😊
Really appreciate these types of videos. I’m from the US and am fascinated by all the magickal and historical places over there that I don’t have the opportunity to visit.
I’m in Cornwall right now on holiday! Went to the witchcraft museum last year but there weren’t any hare ladies for sale when I visited, so after seeing your video we went back yesterday for another visit and I got one for my very own 🎉 I mentioned you to one of the museum witches and she said that everyone wants what you bought now & the hare lady statues in particular are hard to keep in stock. It’s great that your videos have boosted their sales & are directly supporting the work they do ✨
Definitely feel the need to go on a road trip now 🥰 Oh and really thought there was a white hooded figure/statue standing under a tree at 9:33 😮had to rewind & zoom in a few times 😅
Can confirm, church bells close to home are annoying af (but the rent is less). I live across the street from a christian church and they play a recorded hymn at 0800, 1200, and 1800 every f0cking day of the year, plus the Sunday service bells. I can't stand outside when they go off as it's so loud it's painful. I've asked them to turn it down or move the speakers but consideration and kindness is not their thing. I laughed my a$$ off when you mentioned not bursting into flames. My ex made a similar comment to me when we first moved in.
I went to the museum last year and visited Tintagel castle, etc, but I have to say St. Nectan's Glen was something else. If you go back to that area again, I'd definitely recommend it! Off to Glastonbury next week, too, but I'm a bit lucky as I live in Somerset. Completely agree with you on The Sons of Asgard and the book shops, best places for sure. 😊
Loved this! It makes for a vicarious vacation that I can't afford. I'm so grateful! Looking forward to the haul video as well. All the landscapy gardeny stuff was amazing!
Great tour, love these road trip ones...brilliant!! I was so glad to see your hair, the long hair community on Facebook provides a place for those of us who are growing our hair long. We love to see progress, I remember when your hair was much shorter🔮🔮
Happy belated Birthday! My favourite magickal place to go to, is an area called Big Sur, which is about 80 to 90 mile along the Central Coast of California. The southern, non-touristy part has the most...energy.
Happy belated birthday 🎉🎂 Next time you're in Cornwall, try the far end, we have magical wells, witches and more 😊 oh, as well as pirates ☠️ Also in our village we have the first person to have witch as her professional title 🥹x
Thank you Hearth it was great vidio! I feel like I was coming along for the ride :) It was like a fun witchy travel vlog, I loved Port Isaac you are right so nice to do the walk along the cliff. I love all things old and castley
Happy belated birthday! This summer was my first time in Glastonbury (I live in the Netherlands) and I absolutely fell in love with it!❤️ It is such a healing and magical place, even my husband could feel the relaxed atmosphere of the town 😂
This was really interesting, as I had never even heard of most of these places before ( except for Glastonbury and the Witchcraft Museum; and the only reason I know about THEM is from watching earlier videos that you've done!! 😅) So thank you for taking this American subscriber along on your fascinating journeys to all these cool little places!!
I loved this tour, thank you for sharing!! I have never been anywhere magical, unfortunately. The middle of the US, as far away from the sea as possible. I've only seen the Pacific Ocean twice and the Atlantic once. I long to visit Glastonbury someday! ❤
Happy belated Birthday! Your enthusiasm reminds me of when I was young and first began my journey into everything to do with witchcraft and the Goddess. We seem to have a lot in common re: sentimentality like keeping receipts, etc. But then again we are both Cancers so that explains a lot! I just discovered your videos and am enjoying them. Your response to the Witchcraft Museum reminds me of my first time in Salem, Massachusetts in October during Haunted Happenings, my first time in Glastonbury, inside Stonehenge and so on and so forth. I am also a history buff. Best of luck in your life young lady!❤
Thank you for sharing your Cornwall adventures. I really want to go one day and especially where my great great grandmother on my dad’s side came from.
Thank you so much for this. I love watching vlogs of your travels. That is my kind of holiday, visiting hidtoric houses, beautiful countryside and coastline, witchy shops and bookshops. My idea of heaven. Those houses are wonderful. If you love history like I do then I recommend 'Medieval Woman' by Ann Bauer and 'The Time Travellers Guide to England' by Ian Mortimer. They really bring the past to life. By the way I am a 66 year old granny and I love your channel.😊
Looks like an amazing birthday! 🎉 I would love to be able to go there. Unfortunately, where I live, there are really no magical places to visit. About 200 miles from where I live is this really great store, Herb's & Arts. It's the best metaphysical store in Denver, Colorado.
Thank you, thank you for sharing the wonderful birthday trip video of your amazing beautiful country! And all the history of the places, yes! Thank you taking the time to read all the info plack's. And getting so wet! Big hug and birthday wishes to you!
I'm glad you had such an amazing birthday, Hearth, and I absolutely love these videos where you show us around! Cornwall and Glastonbury are definitely places that I hope to visit one day. I did have the opportunity to visit parts of Scotland in June. For historical sites I highly recommend the ancient burial grounds of Clava Cairns in the Highlands and Armadale Castle on the Isle of Skye, and for Nature's magick: Blacklinn Falls at the Hermitage park near the village of Dunkeld and the incredible Cuith-Raing (Quirang) mountains on the Isle of Skye again. And SO many other incredible places to see!
Great vid! The feeling of home in Somerset is real. I'd never visited before but took the leap and moved there 3 and a half years ago. Never looked back!
so glad you had a lovely birthday..you deserve it best loved witch ,xx we also went to glastonbury this year... my partner birthday july 2nd my birthday july the 17th.
Happy belated birthday! I got to visit England once. Years ago. I went to London, Stonehenge, Tintagel, and I was in Boscastle but didn't get to see the museum! You've inspired me to want to go back sometime in the next 5 or 10 years with my kids and visit some places I missed 😊
I loved this tour so much! I was in Tintagle 10 years ago on a beautiful summer day. My sister and I climbed the hiking trail up to it from the car park below. I had such an incredible feeling there. I really felt amazing energy. I would have loved to do your whole tour itinerary! I think I will have to plan another visit (from the US)
I live not far from Tintagel. You squeezed a lot in. I did not know there was a new Witchy shop there. I loved my visit to Lanhydrock too. Did you sense the change in energy between each room. I caught something a little spooky on camera too. I can't wait to visit Glastonbury again, but think I need way more pocket money for those shops. 😍 Loving your Vlogs, Hearth. Glad you enjoyed your birthday. 🤗💖🎂🌸
