Great that you divide the strip and rebuild into three sections as then not too much for new tuners to remember and also slows the process down, tuning should never be rushed!
I was thinking the exact same thing, proves Nick has confidence in his product and knowledge and also will listen to possible tips from fellow shooters 👍🏻 I've bought two kits off of him already and I'm going to buy another one for a Hw80 that I've ordered, he also answers the phone to give advice if needed 👍🏻 👏🏻👏🏻
A bit of advice regarding fitting the newer style cocking shoe. You will need to remove some wood from the stock on the mk1 stock and the early mk2 stocks or it will not cock with the stock on. . If you cant cock the rifle , take the stock off and you will see the indent where it has hit the stock. remove a little bit at a time until it cocks.
Thanks f sharing. My Mk1 stock accepted the new style cocking shoe without any stock interference. However, the shoe itself needed adjustment (file) to fit the receiver. Pls. share your thoughts on a diy compressor - am not getting younger any time soon 🙂
I am busy for the next two days, but then I am starting making videos again. Thee are still many to come, but the spring compressor video will need to be done before the BSA Lightening and HW45 strip downs👍
I have heard others who had the same issue with the shoe on their rifles . I have a mk2 stock on my mk1 action and the shoe hit the stock but the others I have heard of had it happen with the stock the rifle came with . Possibly a production issue with the stocks that happened on some but not all .

I think you're the only person who sells tuning kits that makes videos of their products.. havent seen a thing from vortek, etc...
