You actually play Generation Zero? so its pretty good? Whenever I see anything about it, I always think it could go eitther way. That i would either be pretty good or down right crap. Whats your opinion? ALSO do you have to have friends online?? or do people play, and you can join them etc
@@OpenCarry2024 you can play solo and adjust whether it's multiplayer or not in-game and same with difficulty... You can also choose whether enemies get scale the more people you have in-game... If you don't think you will be good just use flares empty your clip throw another flare doing this on first island can easily allow you to take no damage. As far as when you get to main land you will see stronger enemies which helps when your in group just to save ammo... Just don't forget rocket launcher in naval base in the gas room for decent starter explosive damage... Guns are rated with stars so higher stars means better gun. I'm still getting used to mainland so can't say much on tougher fights as flares don't seem to distract bigger enemies but maybe I just didn't have one close enough idk battle was crazy so didn't have time to figure things out quite yet
Edit yes there is menu option to join random other players

I think it's a cool concept.
But I got pretty darn bored once I reached the mainland and realized everything just felt samey. The robots just got bigger and harder, and all I was doing was chasing ghosts of human npcs I'll never meet. Once me and my friend heard the rebel base get bombed, watched it happen and arrived we were like "oh, this is the whole game then."

In case you guys don't know, the blue sparks mean you hit a critical part. Each part does something unique. The gas chamber makes it explode. A targeting sensor makes it impossible to aim. Etc
I see some of them doing it but they don't mention it.
Does anyone know if there was a story or game thing they missed that explained why the cars blew up at the same time?
love the 80s, it's been awhile but I don't remember the robots being such a problem, a nuisance for sure, but they were most often delt with by a grandmother with a strong broom.
Did she ever meet the Russian robots?

Yeah... I've maxed out all 4 characters, and never once went with a melee build because I thought "that's just stupid. Why would I do that if I can machine-gun or snipe the buggers?" Now I'm wondering if I may have missed out... 🤣
I can't wait to see the boys react to the larger robots in this game, I'm already excited for the gen zero mega cut in a few months!

I'm loving this series. This game is great for y'all. Squad action, guns, robots, looting, the 80's. Anthony's excellent choice of music. Perfection.
I'm glad that someone is finally showing this game some love. Also a small tip, aim for the explosive canisters on the robots. I think they're red. But they're basically the weak spot for the robots. That should help you save some ammo.
This is slowly becoming one of my favorite series from the Neebs team.
As a Swede, this is very entertaining, and they captured the time period perfectly.
Another fun episode in a much under-appreciated game. Thanks again guys, this was a big boost to my state of mind after a horror week at work.

The Clothes strewn across the ground throughout the Gen Zero World is an Easter Egg that the devs put in to pay respects to War of the Worlds, since that movie inspired them.

@@josoffat7649 Simon is only bad if you’re the type of person who can’t handle them fact not everyone is a hardcore gamer, Neebs just prefers to be the camera/builder. Appsro on the other hand does research and plays the games ahead of time and STILL does bad and he’s usually the one who puts in the most effort

Seriously, this is just so good, from the goofy content of four dummies surviving in a post-apocalyptic death robot '80s-themed wastelend to the awesome editing to the even more awesome opening credits and theme song! You guys rock and make just the BEST gaming videos on YT!

Holy cow Simon is getting way better at games!! He is even gaining the 6th sense with games now knowing and feeling when enemies are near!! That was awesome at @8:15! lol Also this is a pretty fun series to watch! Thank you!

This is part of why I love this channel, I would never of found this game and initially thought it was another pc game. Just put two hours in and for 8 quid right now it's well worth the purchase 👌 thank you neebs gaming

I love every second of this new series. I love the game too so it's nice to see it in a full group perspective versus alone.

This might be my new favorite series. The editing is fantastic, and this game is just the right combination of frantic and slow for this group.
The bits with Dora shooting the shotgun in the bunker are funny, especially 7:18. Plus the car explosions.

Dude. I love everything about this series so far. It gives me a sort of 'Found Footage' feeling & given that the game is set in the late 80s such a vibe fits even more. Keep it up mates!

Your friendly neighbourhood Swede here. The text during the voice messages says:

Also, "Brännboll bat" is a baseball bat for the Swedish version called "brännboll" (directly "burn ball") with 4 bases instead of 3, played outside and commonly during midsummer celebrations.
If you guys didn't already know, the robots all have weak spots in the form of fuel tanks. The dogs for example have theirs on top of their backs and they'll go off like fireworks if you shoot them. Also, kudos for the random bits of Swedish text there.
I love the way Anthony edit this series. As a Swede of the 80's it's all very nostalgic! You know...except for the shooting robots and stuff.

If this turns into a series knowing where to shoot the robots is really usefull so heres a list of weakpoints
Runner (the dog looking one): you dont really need to aim for weakpoints but shooting the gun off on apocalypse class saves you a lot of health
Hunter (the bipedal one) shoot the tank on the back or on the side of the head there will be armor with a weakpoint behind (if you move towards them while they jump you dont get hit)
Seeker (floating alarm system) shoot the siren with a sniper it should break in one shot and stop it from allerting everything
Harvester (the big one with 4 legs) the two tubes on its back are rocket launchers if you break them the only way they can damage you is by stomping on you (or calling in hunters and the gas on fnix class and above) everything on its back is a weakpoint
Tank (the big one dead in sahaltam) shoot the eye or the guns off to make your life easier the back is all weakpoints and theres 2 behind the face armor plating and 2 in the middle of each leg
Thats all the original robots
I dont know the weakpoints of the wolf and lynx as i havent played that update yet
Edit: i forgot the reaper and the enemy classes so here they are
The reaper can only spawn as a rival in a level 25 region (you can see it on the map) its an incredibly armored tank with indistructible mesh on weakpoints (you can shoot trough it but it does reduced damage) it has a special attack that start when you hear a horn and the reaper starts releasing gas, this attack kills you in one hit and to avoid it you need to hide behind something (a tree works but you need to stand facing the side so your shoulders arent exposed) if the gas is pink that is the reapers final suicide attack and its twice as big (500m)
Classes
Normal machines
Prototype: they have no armor and are orange
Military: they're green and get some armor and better weapons
Fnix: black with red wires they have a lot of armor and strong weapons (every fnix enemy has explosives)
Apocalypse: the strongest class they're blue with glowing green parts they're completly covered in armor they have radioactive weapons and flamethrowers (two or three hits kill you)
Soviet machines (i dont know the difference only the colors)
Scout: green
Soldier: yellowish
Spetnaz: white

The wolf class if bitch to kill. Larger ones heal during fight. Best is to shoot exposed cores when they stand up to cool their systems. No armouring can be shot off, but you can break of the rocket pods.

The thing I like about the combat in Generation Zero is when you find out the critical weak spot on each type of robot. then you can start to wipe them out very quickly as often one or two hits is enough but also that each subclass of robot starts to make hitting that spot harder and harder. E.G the prototype Runner - the yellow/brown dog like ones has its grey powercell exposed on top of its back one clean shot from pistol is enough to kill it but the green type has a sloped armoured plate covering it from the front but not the back.
Love your intro guys. Makes me want to go to the Arcade on my bike and play Battle Toads (yes I am old)

I am in love with you guys on this game. Hopefully it can be made into a long running series! Been a fan of all your guys work (BFF and the ark series have had me hooked for a long time). I'll be glad to see a new series though, tbh I'm pretty sick of 7 days and that's by far the most focused on series at the moment. I'm also really enjoying the biscut delivery series too, hilarious! Really hoping that Star Citizen is still on the table when it's a more constantly playable state, it can be alot but the creativity options you guys would have with that game would be incredible
Ohhhh I would definitely watch these guys play star citizen, that would be great, that sounds cool. Also I too cannot wait for that game to be FULLY ready for myself too, I just cannot dump money into something that I cannot play whenever and not worry about content, etc - no early access for me

I played the full GenZero game when it first came out and loved it. This series just elevated it to a whole new level... so damn fun!
