Poetry in motion, class angling Jon, you make it look so effortless, thats the difference between a good fisherman and a totally class fisherman, dedicated to the art, thinking like a fish, many a hours sat on the box, what an amazing humble, good man who loves his fishing who shares it all (mostly all) with us meer mortals, thanks.
Really appreciate the support Ross 🏅👍🐟
On a windswept day where I can't go fishing there is nothing better than watching such a class angler as Yourself
Thanks for watching

Well done Jon it looks like you had a very enjoyable day with a few fish 🐟 so well done and tight lines 🎣🎣🎣⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍
Great match.
Thanks Neil.
cracking session really enjoyed that jon
Thanks Stevan
Nicely done Jon. Reckon you must have had the feed pretty well spot on. Natural instinct for fish in a lake to follow the wind.
Yes definitely a very wind dominated lake at the moment
Loved the video,
Nice one Kirk
Well done Jon,great days winter fishing.love the Ghosties.
Great video again Jon . Your the dogs do da's , well done 👍
You fished a real interesting match, not sure you really fancied your peg but good practice for the weekend, who knows what you might have caught if you been "awake" !!!
Slept well when I hit the sofa! 😴
Nice days fishing for you mate and nice to see for this time of year hopefully it's fishing the same the weekend for you,
Nope it blew a hoolie! 🙈💨
@@JonArthur sorry to hear that mate but I don't think the weather played nicely for anyone the weekend, I just hope you manage to bag a few and avoided the dreaded blank that haunts us all every now and again, and good luck with your next match and hopefully the weather will be on your side for a change
Great video John, really good winter weight . Informative as usual but brilliant editing which adds to the pleasure .Red letter day in February on moody moorlands 👌👍
Thanks Peter
20mins in Jon its 36" tried to find 3ft but could'nt tis the same you make me chuckle mate keep it up.
:-) But at 19:55 I definitely said 32 inches, same as the caption!
Great content as always Jon. Lovely fishing.
Cheers Sam
Well done Jon, always enjoy your commentary. i am hoping to get out soon once they manage to get my chemo dose right. I will be trying some of your tactics.
Thanks Stephen and very best of luck with the chemo 👍🤞🙏
Well done Jon lad a great second place, you worked hard there chopping and changing, not a bad choice of peg 8. Change moody Molands to magic Molands.
Nope it’s definitely still very very moody!
Great day and display Jon, biggest F1 caught on molands was 12lb , caught last year on the sonubaits vets match, awsome place to fish, but like you always say.......moody !
Absolutely! Would love to tag some of those fish to see where they sit on the moody days!
@@JonArthur it's a great place to fish, but you can go from one a bung to nothing in a glance !
Wind changes by the slightest and they're on their travels !!
Great fishing m8 keep em comeing 🎣🎣🎣
Ayyyy ups get in love that notification
Enjoyed that Jon
Great video Jon bit of a red letter day in February 👍
Have to make the most of days like that with it being such a bad month weatherwise 💨💨💨
@@JonArthur Amen to that 👍
Great match Jon some really nice fish that cats lucky your a professional fisherman and not a professional footballer bet he wouldn't be so eager to scratch you if you we're sporting a West ham shirt 🤣🤣🤣👍
🤣🙀
your netting was excellent you only seemed disappointed with it once. really good camera work well done jon
Well fished Jon .
Another fantastic video Jon 👍🏻 Hope you managed to get tickets for Fish O even thou it was a nightmare yet again on the site 😂
Somehow got five before they sold out. Agree it was bit of a shambles this year 😢
Did you not draw a peg as you said about choosing pegs ? Great to watch catching everywhere.
No you ‘draw to draw’ and I think I got the 9th pick, so all the stand-out flyers are gone by then, plus pleasure anglers already on lots of good areas, so it’s interesting and always a puzzle where to go
Love the video..commentary and tackle tips helping those of us who need all the help we can get!..Question : do you roll the pellets onto the hook around the circumfrance?.. or through the side ?..
Thanks, I pass the point of the hook through the curved part rather than the flat ends as the 'grain' of the pellet helps it stay on that way.
Love your videos Jon you’re such a talented angler! Is there anything you can’t do! 🧐
Ha ha, jack of all trades, master of none
Well jon , a pretty good result , what equal , 4th ?? With over 60 lb .... well done . Always enjoy your vlogs ......
I was 2nd on the day cheers 👍
@@JonArthur well an even better result ... good for you .. cant wait for the better weather myself . So i can get out too ...
wow, great days fishing, you really had to keep chopping and changing up, wish I was closer to packington n tunnel barn proper F1 venues, well done top film as per! 🏆
jon....what was the noise in the loft? driving me mad lol
Three mice all in traps! 🐭🐭🐭🧀🧀🧀
nice m8
Thanks!
well done top rod , i bet you put the fear of God into the other fishermen when they see your van pull up 😅
24:35 where would you set up a new swim? At 13 m but to the left a bit?
How does it work then, u get to pick your peg in a match??
Did Jon mention where he placed in the match or did I miss it?
Hi I was 2nd 🥈
Is it quite common to be able to feed other lines with a pole at the same time as fishing with another rod? Or is that fairly unique to that particular venue?
At about 2:10 he mentions you can at Packington
Most venues don’t allow it, but places like Packington, Decoy, Hallcroft etc all do. Tends to be the bigger lakes where a lot of feeder fishing happens.
🍌🍌🍌never underestimate the power of a banana 🍌🍌🍌😄
Cheers 👍🍺😀
Absolutely!
a 5lb F1 when the camera was dead come on jon pull the other one, Only joking fair play a top bit of angling
Is this packington leicestershire

Certainly did 😴
So presumably you got second even though you didn't say so lol
Yep runner up on the day 👍
Hope you get more sleep tonight jon 😊
You know yourself Jon your ambitions in angling now is down to luck the rest to me seems obvious
Much appreciated Paul 👍👍👍
