I used to do this to my shoes growing up cause we were dirt poor. Clean em with a toothbrush and ivory soap and then use a product that i remember being called "sneaker white" to make them bright again.

The shoe whitener is always a temporary fix it don't last for long. Best way to get yellow of those trainers is, solan care 40 or by using proper trainer paint
