Mumbai to South Goa by luxury air conditioned bus takes around 17 hours. They use the highway. Lots of clean middle class restaurants and hotels on the way. For vegetarian food eat at South Indian restaurants. Order idli sambar with sambar separate, masala dosa without chillies, even red chillies, tell the waiter very mild food, mo chillies, order yogurt or raita to cool down your stomach from any masala or chillies, order a vegetarian thali. Thanks for the entertaining informative uplifting videos! Please keep on making them! Thanks and loves@❤❤

Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and other Himalayan states are amazing for bike rides. Ladakh even has the world’s highest motorable road-higher than Everest Base Camp! If you’re looking for quieter spots, Sikkim and the Northeast are great and still pretty unexplored. For a chill island vibe, check out the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. And if you’re in South India, Lakshadweep, near Kerala, is like a mini-Maldives.

Lovely video! Your journey from Mumbai to Goa through Mahabaleshwar looks amazing. As a fellow traveler and a big Queen fan, I wanted to share a fun fact: Did you know that Freddie Mercury, the legendary frontman of Queen, studied at St. Peter's School in Panchgani, near Mahabaleshwar, when he was just eight years old? Interestingly, the road you passed through in Mahabaleshwar is just 250-300 meters from the school! Such a cool connection to this beautiful region. Safe travels and keep sharing your adventures!
Hi, thanks very much 😊🙏🏻 we did not know that about Freddy!! Thanks for sharing that -so he learnt to play piano in India -that’s awesome. Thanks very much and catch you in tomorrow’s episode 😊🙏🏻

India videos have been stunning! Thank you very much for the content as always. That 1 on 1 at the end was very eye opening, thank you for that as well.
This is as it's happening. Totally get the fatigue when doing these stressful rides. Eyes as much on the road behind, as much as in front. Hardly a second to enjoy the experience of the tour and Emily, your spot on regarding the pillion riders. If you were to ask each of the two on the same bike doing the same tour.. you wouldn't think they had done it together as it's a completely different experience for each of them. Think this was your toughest day yet. Well done. Keep it going as it's great for us to watch it in the comfort of our homes. 👍👍👍👍
Yeah, you see what we see good and bad, tough and easy 😉. Yeah it's a different type of fatigue -more mental than physical. Yeah it really is, one is looking after the front and the other what's behind and to the side. Thanks as always! (we have dropped the next episode too) 😎👍
Remember that India realistically has "no rules", so when someone cuts you off or tries to throw some legal rules at you, Do not worry. Riding along even with our own super bike group, we are at mercy of the villagers and common crowd, in most situations they will help. So keep a track of police stations for your own safety and take shelter only when you think it's an approved place. Please avoid random camping. Find hotels, don't hesitate to spend on a local guide before arriving in northern cities. Cheers and safe travels !
Thanks for the advice and insights! We've definitely noticed the "unique" rules of the road here-it’s all part of the adventure. Appreciate the support and wisdom-it’s great hearing from someone with firsthand experience. Stay tuned for more updates from the journey, and ride safe!
Hey Sean & Emily, Just chanced upon your video at the BMW showroom in Mumbai. I'm an avid Biker myself. My one tip for you if you wish to have successful rides in India. Be prepared for the unexpected, esp in smaller towns & villages - wrong side riding/driving, helmet less riders, triple/quadruple people on a motorcycle, normal/usual signals rarely work, only the horn does & /hand signals. Avoid night time travels as sadly, there are quite a few crazies (driving under the influence etc). The more remote you decide to go, you could lose network on your mobile, street lights are almost non existent. You guys are rather bold to dare to venture on Indian roads esp coming from a place where people buy & large do follow rules!! Ride safe & tc!! Cheers!!
Hi, thanks for your comment. That's some good advice for anyone riding in India so thanks for that We have now completed our tour and are editing the videos. We hope you enjoy the series 😎👍
This was a beautifull mountainroad. I can imagine that you feel not well afternoon someren days of riding in these new conditions. You are still adjusting to the new conditions. Take care and stay safe. 😎👍
I'd recommend taking about 2 hours off at the hottest hours. while starting daily journeys a bit early. Biking across central India is very challenging, people usually go across the northern regions near Himalayas for bike tours. You're In Mahabaleshwar so get some Strawberry Cream in the afternoons at a nice place . The Strawberries there are organic, fresh and sourced locally from the hill farms.
Did a bike trip with wife to this same location and stayed by the lake last year. You will definitely love it. Do not miss out on strawberries and strawberry icecream!! Have fun and happy + safe riding!! Stay blessed mates 🙏🏻
Consider riding from mumbai to Bhandardara through Ambewadi route for a scenic ride experience. Also, explore mumbai to mahabaleshwar or mumbai - pune 😊
Mahabaleshwar is the most famous hill station in Maharashtra. Its pronounced as Maha-Bale-Shwa-r Often crowded with tourists from Mumbai and Pune with lot of good hotels to stay. If you feel unwell during the journey, eat plain rice and Dal fry. Its available everywhere and easy to digest for stomach Roads in Konkan and entire western ghats are challenging due to road construction and land slides in Monsoon. Eat light food when travelling through road with so many turns.
Hey, I love your videos! You should definitely check out Kolli Hills in Tamil Nadu! The 70 hairpin bends lead to such breathtaking landscapes- it would make for an amazing video! 😍🏍️ 🌄
Very nice Vlog, For Food you can order piping hot food anywhere in india and you can ask it to be very less spicy , and since its hot you could be sure it will not harm you, water definately you have to use bottled water for drinking. Also please always choose medium to high end restaurants and hotels in india for stay the experience will be vastly different, never go for cheap hotels in india , good luck for the next journey's
Mahabaleshwar is famous hill station in Maharashtra state Its 150 kms from City Pune. You should stay & explore it.Also do visit Place Panchgani just 5 kms near to Mahabaleshwar
Great video guys so much emotion too Emily with the monkeys and adapting to the food and heat , Sean dealing with riding and concentration involved staying on the roads at times very fatiguing, enjoying the Indian trip , you are such a lovely couple, I say both of you doing the video library interesting to listen too , your videos are refreshing to watch 😊
Thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot that you’re enjoying our journey and noticing all the little challenges we’ve been navigating along the way. Emily’s moments with the monkeys were definitely unforgettable, and the food and heat have been an adventure of their own! 😅 Riding in India has its ups and downs, but it’s all part of the experience, and we’re loving every moment of it. We’re so glad the videos bring you joy-it’s exactly why we do what we do! 😊 Thanks for being part of the journey with us!
Guys, i think you have to plan for food more than anything else on an india trip, as its a different cuisine. 1) I would suggest read a few quora answers on what foreigners eat in india. Based on preferences and make stops accordingly. 2) I would suggest Eat Hot tiffins or rice with curries in good restaurants (there are many on major highways) which has good reviews, you can carry roti's from those restaurants as takeaway for your trip. Like aloo paratha i think you will like it. Happy Journey.
When she said.... "heat is something you would really have to fight", then I was thinking this should be a video from summers 🌞 then I saw this was posted 1 hour ago. Man...! It's winters.. going on here.
It's further south so most of the time the temperature is more tropicalish and also coz of the global warming winters r late......it's gets to like 5-6 celcius at night in night and gets even lower as u go further north
I hope you like India and always good traveler adjust condition then overcome this I hope both match India incridible things Best of luck for Next journey
It’s Sunday today and I have watched all your videos from Mumbai to Mahabaleshwar 😊Guys, pls explore nice places. You have missed so many beautiful places enroute Mahabaleshwar. Also, Even I hate when people honk for no reason. Some Indians are highly indiscipline when it comes to driving. Especially I hate those tuk tuk fellows to be honest they follow no traffic rules.
Thanks for watching -just dropped a new episode. Yeah it’s impossible to see everything with the time that we have but we are doing our best to see what we can with the time that we have. Hehe glad it’s not just us! -we have no problem with honking if it’s needed 😁
Yeah a good night sleep, plenty of water and some plain food did the job -not to mention a porridge for breakfast (broke into the emergency rations lol) Thanks for joining us 😊👍
Well comeon Maharashtra India....mahabaleshwar is one of rhe best hill station in our Maharashtra.....go to Chatrapati shivaji maharaj fort Pratapgarh close to mahabaleshwar......
Curd rice would help with digestion problems. you can buy buttermilk and lassi at any amul or local dairy store which will help with digestions. 2nd best option is " lemon rice" and jeera rice fir digestion problems
Hi sean and emily, well done sean for keeping the bike up, Those pot holes were lethal especially on 2 wheels, I think many a rider would of come off, I was surprised emily was crying 😢over those monkeys 🐒, bless her, most of the drivers in India would be arrested in the UK, I hope you're not too unwell sean you did look a little pale, I think with all that concentration with the mad drivers and riders and pot holes and you not eating enough had caused that, Both of you please look after yourselves, I think you are a lovely couple, and your videos are great 👍. Best wishes from Roy in England 😊❤.
Hi Roy! Thanks very much! Best to key the bike desk with bumps like that and not to keep a tight grip on the bars. Really impressed by how this bike had dealt with these bumps. Was feeling a lot better the next day (emergency porridge supply was dipped into 😂). Thanks for watching Roy and we appreciate your kind words 😊
Guys please carry a hydration bag while riding in India. You should be getting those in @Decathlon in Goa. As a biker myself I can't stress enough on how important that is in India. That will save you a lot of time and with adventure helmets, it's easy to sip some water quickly without getting off the bike and taking your helmets off
We preferer to have multiple stops to talk and to have cold water from the vendors -there's really no Shortage of people selling cold water and we keep one in the bike just in case. Hydration bags are a good idea though for the cooler climates.
Tears of Joy.... A Priceless Moments.... You Experienced it, You Lived it... 👍👍👍 On Sharp Turns in Hilly Roads please Beep Or Blow Horn to make Alert Other Vehicle's... 🔊🔊🔊 Love and Respect from Navi Mumbai 💕💕💕
First I would be absolutely overwhelmed both and mostly by the driving and the crazy ass driving wow and the heat I would riding with a cut off T shirt and vest again give u credit for putting up with it but still a adventure to say the least

Would prefer to have a stop and drink chilled water than drink water that's warm. It's always good to have a stop and take a moment to enjoy the surroundings
Thanks for another great episode. Kudos to you both for churning out well edited videos on top of everything else you're doing. 👏👏 Take it easy and don't rush. Expect the unexpected, while it might be tempting to enjoy the twisties, not everyone understands they need to drive on their side of the road, and there are always those who are in a rush for no reason, who overestimate their driving skills. So be careful of the cagers. And always make sure you food is steaming hot that will help reduce the chance of picking up a bug. Any fruit where you can peel the skin off should be good oranges, bananas, sweet limes etc will help replenish some of your body salts you're losing to sweat. Stay well, stay safe and have fun. Cheers P.S. try wetting your Ts before putting on your jackets, makes a helluva diff in the heat, also helps on the head if you can lay your hands on bicycle cooling skull caps P.P.S. Wait till you ride through Laos they redefine potholes there.... you could lose a bike in one of them
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment and kind words! 🙏 We're glad you're enjoying the episodes-it means a lot to us. Great advice all around, especially about watching out for cagers and making sure food is steaming hot. We've definitely been sticking to peelable fruits. Laos sounds like quite the adventure; we'll brace ourselves for those legendary potholes when we get there. 😅 Thanks again for your support and for sharing such practical tips-stay safe, and we hope you enjoy the upcoming episodes!
You should visit Andaman and Nicobar Islands (Barren Island Active Volcano, Havelock Island, Radhanagar Beach , Elephant Beach, Govindnagar Beach, Kala Pathar Beach, Neil Island, Bharatpur Beach, Lakshmanpur Beach, Sitapur Beach, Cellular Jail, Flag Point, Jolly Buoy Island, Baratang Island , Ross Island, North Bay Island, Chidiya Tapu Beach, Corbyns Cove, Marine Naval Museum, Mount Harriet National Park, Cinque Island, Lalaji Bay Beach, Parrot Island, Rangat Island, Long Island, Alfred Caves, Avis Island, Rangat Island, Panchvati Waterfalls, Diglipur, Mangrove Maze of Dugong Creek, Enchanted Falls, Bumila Mud Volcano, Grub Island, Elephant Point, Butler Bay Beach, Kala Pathar Limestone Caves, Vivekananda Puram Beach, Munda Pahad Hill, Red Skin Island, Bioluminescence, Saddle Peak, Aberdeen Bazaar, Mayabunder, Karamatang Beach, Wandoor Beach.
Thanks Luke! Yeah the combination of the heat, road chaos and adjusting to the food is more difficult than we thought ti would be. Still having a great time! 😊👍
Your India experience is a mix of very pleasant and the opposite! Maybe get stocked up on safe snacks from a shop like the one you bought water from, which looked perfect. I can imagine the tension from keeping your eyes everywhere, plus the heat, until it cools right down in the evening. It’s a pity you can’t wear a little mask under your helmet you can pull up when following smelly vehicles! How wonderful to see those delightful monkeys, so road wise too. Anyway, your vlogs are very entertaining and enjoyable.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! 😊 You’re absolutely right-it’s been a mix of highs and challenges, but that’s what makes the experience so memorable. Stocking up on snacks is such a good idea; those little shops have been lifesavers but some bigger supermarkets would be even better! The heat and constant focus while riding can definitely get intense, but the cooler evenings are a welcome relief. A mask under the helmet is such a smart suggestion-we might have to try that for those smoky moments behind trucks! And yes, those monkeys were amazing to watch; they’re so clever and seem to know the roads better than us! Thanks for joining us on this journey and for your kind words-it means so much to us!
I'm pretty sure your trip of india goes memorial... Kokan costal roads are ahead.... those are heavenly roads...Take care of yourself... Chilling under my blanket here in Assam (north east region) and watching you guys complain about the heat lol Its actually quite chilly in the northern regions, even in Delhi the temperatures currently drop down to 4-5 degrees.
You should have stayed in some other hotel in Mahabaleshwar. I would have never booked this hotel😊. I am from Mumbai but we travel to Mahabaleshwar often just to get away from a chaotic life in Mumbai.
Thanks for the tips! It was actually a nice hotel, just needed a bit of a clean 😉 It’s a wonderful area and we can see why people from Mumbai visit -we love the peace and quiet of the countryside 😎
Hi Guys! love to see you both in INDIA. First Thing Don't loose hope, I know that the weather is not supportive for you guys! But find a way to manage your health. For water, every grocery stores have 1 liter bottles, if you have your own water bottles, you can refill it in some hotels you are crossing by and they provide at no cost. Book your hotels for stay prior by checking the reviews and pictures. if it is not clean enough you can request the persons to clean it up and they'll do it for you. All the peoples were super friendly. so you can ask any doubts regarding your routes they will guide you well. because the maps can fail to show you the correct route coz you are choosing the country side roads. My heartly wishes for you guys for the safe and memorable journey. 💖💖

Western Ghats have been stunning so far, and the Himalayas are calling us! Can’t wait to take on those mountain roads soon!
Best vlog ever ❤❤❤❤❤ you guys are soooo cute together
Aw thank you! That means a lot 🥰
This was a beautifull mountainroad. I can imagine that you feel not well afternoon someren days of riding in these new conditions. You are still adjusting to the new conditions. Take care and stay safe. 😎👍
Thanks so much! The mountain roads here are stunning but definitely demanding. Staying safe and taking it one day at a time!
Take care both I am really enjoying these vids
Thank you ❤️
I'd recommend taking about 2 hours off at the hottest hours. while starting daily journeys a bit early.
Biking across central India is very challenging, people usually go across the northern regions near Himalayas for bike tours.
You're In Mahabaleshwar so get some Strawberry Cream in the afternoons at a nice place . The Strawberries there are organic, fresh and sourced locally from the hill farms.
Thanks for the tips! We don't really have the time to stop during the day but it's a good idea for sure. Strawberries sound great! 😎👍
Great episode.
Thank you!!
Did a bike trip with wife to this same location and stayed by the lake last year. You will definitely love it. Do not miss out on strawberries and strawberry icecream!! Have fun and happy + safe riding!! Stay blessed mates 🙏🏻
Glad you had a good trip! We'll have to give those a try! 😊
South Indian road 🛣️🛣️ is best bro banglore and Kerala and manglore road good ✨✨✨

Dapoli , velas, ganpatipule, Diveagar . Whole Kokan coastal strip. Incredible is Devbaug.
Sounds awesome! Thanks for the tip 😎
You guys are enjoying well ❤❤ happy travelling. 🎉🎉
Thank you! 😃
Consider riding from mumbai to Bhandardara through Ambewadi route for a scenic ride experience. Also, explore mumbai to mahabaleshwar or mumbai - pune 😊
Thanks for the suggestion, sounds like a great ride! 💪
Nice ride guys!! welcome to south India...
Thank you 🇮🇳🧡
Mahabaleshwar is the most famous hill station in Maharashtra. Its pronounced as Maha-Bale-Shwa-r
Often crowded with tourists from Mumbai and Pune with lot of good hotels to stay.
If you feel unwell during the journey, eat plain rice and Dal fry. Its available everywhere and easy to digest for stomach
Roads in Konkan and entire western ghats are challenging due to road construction and land slides in Monsoon.
Eat light food when travelling through road with so many turns.
Thanks for the tips, we had plain rice this evening and it helped a lot 😊
Beep is to alert vehicles coming from opposite side of the road on steep turns so as to not bump into each other on mountain roads.
Beep Beep 😉👍
Some great views your both living the dream 😃happy biking stay safe
It was a great ride! Thanks! 🧡🇮🇳
I am urging you to drive on this maharashtrian roads during monsoons cause thats when you will get to see real beauty of this mountains
We are only here for three weeks, have seen they look spectacular! But probably wound not return to do a motorcycle tour in monsoon season =)
India is huge country.. Even one life is not enough to be explore fully... So u hv to patient... And take regular haults...
That's the plan - this wont be our last trip to India 😊
Hey, I love your videos! You should definitely check out Kolli Hills in Tamil Nadu! The 70 hairpin bends lead to such breathtaking landscapes- it would make for an amazing video! 😍🏍️ 🌄
Thanks for the tips! We have heard about Tamil Nadu and it’s on the list 🥰
Beautiful ride indeed. Cold pleasant weather
Bro is was nearly 40degrees that wasn’t cold!
Thanks for the advice 😎🙏🏻
Mahabaleshwar is famous hill station in Maharashtra state Its 150 kms from City Pune. You should stay & explore it.Also do visit Place Panchgani just 5 kms near to Mahabaleshwar

Next time! 😊
Yes,our Indian drivers are not the strict followers of traffic rules ,you should be cautious with them while riding your bike.
Thanks, we learnt this very quickly 😊
Oh man your route decision are making me come back to your vlogs!!! You must once you reach Goa, write down the stops from when you started in Mumbai.
That's the plan! We will add route maps to each episode when we get a chance 😎👍
Thanks very much for the suggestions 😊
Hello Sean.
I am amazed and happy to see that you are learning the nuances of riding in our country. 😅.
It's a learning curve for sure 😅
When she said.... "heat is something you would really have to fight", then I was thinking this should be a video from summers 🌞 then I saw this was posted 1 hour ago. Man...! It's winters.. going on here.
It's further south so most of the time the temperature is more tropicalish and also coz of the global warming winters r late......it's gets to like 5-6 celcius at night in night and gets even lower as u go further north
It was 35-40 degrees
Vlogs ❤❤
Thanks 😊
You have to be very flexible in accepting unexpected things in India. So far, you are doing well. I really enjoyed it.❤
Thank you so much, doing our best to embrace everything 😊
I Like to watch your videos, please visit Rajasthan some day and be careful and always take care of your diet, love from Rajasthan

Hallo ihr Beiden, danke für die interessanten und aufregenden Videos!
Liebe Grüsse aus der Schweiz/ Kanton Basel Land
Vielen Dank! Wir freuen uns, dass sie uns aus der Schweiz folgen! 😊
Hope you are feeling better Sean.Wise words from Emily at the end of the video. Thank you for sharing your adventures😊
Thanks very much 😊🙏
Curd rice would help with digestion problems. you can buy buttermilk and lassi at any amul or local dairy store which will help with digestions. 2nd best option is " lemon rice" and jeera rice fir digestion problems
They are vegans, bro. they don't eat any dairy products.
Lemon rice sounds good 👍 Thanks
Nice Vlog.
Thank you 😊
If you have time .Try to visit Munnar .Vagamon in kerala. You might also like ooty(ootacamund)But these places are all south of india.
Thanks for the great suggestions -so many places to see and not enough time 😊👍
Uttrakhand, himachal pradesh, Ladakh, kerala, karnatak, north east also best for Bike riding plz visit ☺️
Awesome! Some future trips there 😎🙌🏻
Hi sean and emily, well done sean for keeping the bike up, Those pot holes were lethal especially on 2 wheels, I think many a rider would of come off, I was surprised emily was crying 😢over those monkeys 🐒, bless her, most of the drivers in India would be arrested in the UK, I hope you're not too unwell sean you did look a little pale, I think with all that concentration with the mad drivers and riders and pot holes and you not eating enough had caused that, Both of you please look after yourselves, I think you are a lovely couple, and your videos are great 👍.
On Sharp Turns in Hilly Roads please Beep Or Blow Horn to make Alert Other Vehicle's... 🔊🔊🔊
Love and Respect from Navi Mumbai 💕💕💕
Such a beautiful ride 🥰 Love and respect back S&E ❤️
First I would be absolutely overwhelmed both and mostly by the driving and the crazy ass driving wow and the heat I would riding with a cut off T shirt and vest again give u credit for putting up with it but still a adventure to say the least
Thanks Jeff! We got used to it after a couple of days and for sure seeing others riding in shorts and t shirts looked tempting indeed 🤣
Every 250km landscape culture language coustoms whether costumes religion food we have more then 6000 different till now tested by me at 40yr even jewelry design changes u will love this country of mine feel so blessed living and born in india..world biggest and oldest democracy with all religion living together with smile
Absolutely! India’s diversity has been incredible to experience-every region feels like a new adventure, from the food to the culture.
You should get a hydration pack from the next big city you stop at soo that you dont have to stop every hour to drink water.
Would prefer to have a stop and drink chilled water than drink water that's warm. It's always good to have a stop and take a moment to enjoy the surroundings
Next time visit Maharashtra in rainy season. From July to October. Its best season to visit these places.
I’m sure it’s beautiful but rainy season is not the best for motorcycle touring!
Cheers
P.S. try wetting your Ts before putting on your jackets, makes a helluva diff in the heat, also helps on the head if you can lay your hands on bicycle cooling skull caps
Thanks for the recommendations 🧡🇮🇳
Please go easy on yourselves, that is a gruelling route you have chosen, slow and steady and have a great trip
Health, driving safe in India...Emily you pronunciation spot on Mahabaleshwar 👏 take care man .. India itself is continent..dress, language, people changes while heading towards south...😊
It's a trip of a lifetime and we take memories that we will cherish! Yeah you are right, the way the feel changes form state to state is amazing and a great diversity. Thanks for your kind words 😊🙏
Emily is very sweet and innocent ❤🙏
🥰❤️
You should definitely go to go bandipur karnataka road to ooti because it is a national park and there will lot of animals you can see on the road
Thanks for the tip! Bandipur and Ooty sound incredible! 🧡🇮🇳
Chilling under my blanket here in Assam (north east region) and watching you guys complain about the heat lol
Its actually quite chilly in the northern regions, even in Delhi the temperatures currently drop down to 4-5 degrees.
Chilly up there, eh? Send some of that cool breeze our way! We’re melting down here.
I ride before on this road its beautiful ❤️
Glad you enjoyed the ride, it’s truly beautiful. 🥰
@@SeanandEmily Where else would you like to travel in India?do u have any plan's?
You should have stayed in some other hotel in Mahabaleshwar. I would have never booked this hotel😊. I am from Mumbai but we travel to Mahabaleshwar often just to get away from a chaotic life in Mumbai.
Thanks for the tips! It was actually a nice hotel, just needed a bit of a clean 😉
It’s a wonderful area and we can see why people from Mumbai visit -we love the peace and quiet of the countryside 😎
Still summer is going on in Maharashtra.dude north bengal is freezing 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶
Wrap up mate!
Hi Guys! love to see you both in INDIA.
💖💖
Hi Bro, thanks! It’s great to have been in India snd we have had a great time!
