No Bake Egg Tart I No Oven Egg Tart Ingredients TART CRUST 1 ½ cup all-purpose flour 1/3 cup cold butter, cut into small cubes ½ cup sugar 1 egg ¼ tsp salt CUSTARD FILLING 1 big can (370ml) Evaporated Milk ¾ cup sugar 1 tsp vanilla 3 eggs Procedure 1. In a bowl combine flour and butter. Using fork mix flour and butter until it turns into fine crumbs. Add sugar and salt. Mix. Add egg and mix well. Using your clean hands press mixture to form a dough. Knead until smooth but don’t over knead the dough. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill in the ref for 30 minutes. 2. In a saucepan combine evaporated milk and sugar. Turn on the stove and warm milk over low-medium heat. Keep stirring until sugar is dissolved. When milk start boiling turn off the heat. Let it cool. 3. In a bowl beat eggs. Pour in milk and sugar mixture that we cooled down. Add vanilla and mix well. Strain mixture to remove lumps and bubbles. 4. Lightly grease tart molds with butter. Get a portion of the dough and roll it into a ball. Press dough into tart mold. Cut excess dough. Repeat process until you finish all the dough. Pour filling into each tart. 5. For our improvised oven put a pot stand inside a casserole. Cover and preheat for 10 minutes over medium heat. Put something on top of pot stand that is heat resistant to hold the tart. Put the tart inside the improvised oven, be careful it’s hot. Cover and cook for 35-40 minutes over medium-low heat or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let it cool before unmolding. Use a toothpick when unmolding the tart. Yields: 9 pieces Enjoy! i made thisss,,, sobrang sarap kaso matagal nga lang lutuin at kailangan mahina ang apoy kung hindi masusunog na ang crust pero hilaw padin ang filling pero worth it naman thank you!!
