I think they move that render function from Ps to Ai, but that Ps 3d felt more janky, this one is better

My illustrator is 2022 but it doesn't have the add graphics option in the 3d materials. How do I find it please
in which version i can make make this effects.
10 years in photoshop and i was afraid of Illustrator now am trying to be brave and learn it i wish if there was a way to show what buttons you pressing and shortcuts you're using when you adjust the shapes, overall thank you for this video it's really helpful

Hi, please feel free to screenshot the palette on 0:30 and use the eyedropper tool to get the colour! I'll be sure to include them in my next videos. :D
Can this be done in the iPad version of illustrator?

Yes you can! If you click on the element, you can still resize and recolour them. Under the effects panel you can also turn off the 3D effect for awhile. 😊 I'll see if I can include that in the future tutorials!

After rendering is completed, everytime I move the 3d object by accident, it re-render, is there any way to stop it, because it takes time.

My illustrator 2020 dont have the "3D and materrials". Someone please tell me which version of AI in this video!!
While using 3D effects, in Illustrator I might encounter the following error messages and limitations "3D and Materials' effect currently works only on some object types and cannot apply as multiple instances." But you select it all as you add the light effect, why do you?

Unfortunately, it's only available from 2022 version and above. It's a new feature :)
hey is there a way to scale the final shape? im having trouble with it, the design loses it shape when i change the size
Hey Laura! when you adjust the shape after it's rendered, certain elements like the projected facial feature becomes disproportionate. I would recommend adjusting the size in 2D mode, you can do this by going to 'Appearance' Panel and you can turn on and off the 3D effect there. Under the 3D effect applied, it's still the vector 2D. Hope this helps!
@@adriannewalujo.o didn't work like that, but in the width and height panel there's an option to scale effects and stroke of the shape and seems to have done the trick, thank you for your help anyway 😊
I loved the tutorial tried following it step by step but the rendered image I'm getting is glitchy and pixelated .. can you help me with that ?
Is it possible that the size of the rainbow before applying the 3D effect is too small? So when you zoom in it becomes pixelated? :)

@@xaraamin Hmm that's odd! before pressing render there is a downward arrow 'v' there are some quality settings to explore, have you checked that out too? 🤔

Is 3D effect available in IPad illustrator?
No it is not! It's too heavy for iPad (even quite heavy for computers)
I cannot find the graphics tab beside the material panel.
Hi Sangeeta, there are two material tabs, please check the 'graphics' tab next to the second material tabs, or do you have different UI then shown on the video at 3:13 ? Hope that works! It should be there

Hi there! I'm using the latest version but it should be available with the 3D and Materials setting. Did you find it? Is the object selected grouped (e.g. it can't be multiple elements)

Hello, I really liked your Tutorial but I'm learning to mess with ilustrator and I realized that in some parts you did very fast. Do it a little slower so that people who are learning can do it. In the most I loved the bunny!

If you use adobe creative cloud, you should be able to see if you have the latest version or not :) This 3D feature is available from early 2022 version!
This is so cute. My 10 yo already trying his hands on it to create this art..here i would like to ask what my 10 yo has told me to put in comment: he would like to put some 3d objects virtually on wall shelf as his TH-cam video background. Is this possible?
Thank you, glad your son loves it! :D He can create the 3D objects and just edit them into a photo of the shelf if that's what he is looking for :)

Are you referring to the mouth? I created a rectangle > make it outline only > round the corner > pressing the + on keyboard > add anchor point in between the line > select the anchor point > delete
