    You did a really amazing job, very creative. The fact that 95% of what you used is from the dollar store is even better!!! GREAT JOB. You should do more dollar store DIY's

    Toilet plunger as a base is really ingenious! ♥ I've made hundreds of topiaries, and this is one of the most creative ideas I've ever come across. Two thumbs up! ♥
    As to the top, I usually just use a foam ball from a craft or floral store :)

      Anna Gray thank you very much. And the foam ball is the way to go. :)

    love this idea!! im planning an enchanted forest birthday party and have so many of your videos saved so i could make the decorations myself. if you dont mind me asking how much reindoor moss did you use to cover the topiary?

    Did you wait for the rope to dry overnight before wrapping with newspaper?

  • @jacobsmomma1000

    What did you put on the newspaper. I have the yarn balls done and didn’t even think about what I should use to stick the newspaper on. Is it mod podge or just elmers glue?

    Were using the 2 boxes wrapped in paper an option for the string ball? I would have compressed paper around a paper tube , covered it with tape then foil. I loved the idea. Nice and very inexpensive!

    Hello! About how big are the balls? I’m going to do it with foam ball instead, I just don’t know what size I should get.

      Hi Jasmine. I wanted my topiaries to be pretty big but those foam balls are pretty expensive. Mine are the size of a soccer ball. Another cheap way to make them is by using paper lanterns. I have a tutorial that I made, but it’s not as sturdy as these. Hope this helps. 😊❤️❤️

    I can't find how she attached the ball to the plunger stick after painting the stick.???

    • @karemmena8582
      @karemmena8582 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ixamxmsright Hello. Sorry I didn’t show that part on the video. The ball has an opening at the bottom with a cardboard tube that can slide in place on the stick at any time. The ball is removable, the cardboard tube you make keeps in place. You can watch the part to make the tube, that holds the ball to the plunger, from 7:21 thru 10:43. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.

    I would of hand painted the white roses to look more "getting painted". After all, they were making a mess of them, so u can't go wrong in how u hand paint the white roses with some red. Just a pointer.

    I'd left the ball in the pieces if they are getting covered up. No sense in throwing out plastic like that.
