Which performance is your favorite? And what concept would you like to see from XG next?!
Due to the focus on vocals, I love so much their performance with Winter Without You. Both in First Take and It's Live (which I love even more cause of the band behind). I believe they will try every possible style, but I would love to see this year some Blues or Hip-hop due to their influences

Follower of XG from the beginning too, both are great but Winter Without You's just too good. Those harmonies and their vocal line finally getting to show off was amazing.

Winter without you for sure, but Shooting Star still my top song of 2023. Hopefully we get to see more RnB, maybe a full ballad? but hell, they can do anything and I'm sure they'll kill it.

I 💯agree with your assessment. They are not imitating the era and that genre. They are that and they are doing it their way. They did it with respect and with a genuine sense. They always paid homage to the OG’s and no other groups does that. Thank you for that.

I LOVE maya's voice. I love how these last three songs XG released Maya is finally getting the time and recognition she deserves outside of rap. She's wildly talented (as well as everyone else in XG) and is so slept on compared to everyone else. Ive stanned her since I first listened to Mascara
I felt the same way when New dance gave the chance to Cocona to show her voice, I absolutely love her vocals and I was so in shock at the first time I heard that I couldn't believe that was actually her singing
And yeah it was exactly the same with Maya, I love them both and all the girls, I love how much talent they have!
Maya and Cocona were my instant stans. I continue to feel Maya is the most well rounded in the group in terms of performance, dance, rap and vocals. She is equally strong in every area. Hard to sleep on her if you're really paying attention!
I totally agree, she’s so well rounded. She reminds me a lot of RM, in the way that I feel like I could see her one day producing, writing, and being multidimensional in the music making-process.

Is there anything XG can't do? They are just perfect on every level. Rapline, vocals, dance, stage presence & swag. They have no weakness a group of all arounders. If you haven't discovered XG yet you 100% need to check them out. They are a next level talent

XG is just different. These young queens are so insanely talented at everything (rap, dance, vocals) they have no weak link or weakness. XG deserves to be a household name. Their old school R&B vibe is so genuine & perfect no girl group out there today does it like them. As a GEN X'er i know all about old school R&B & XG has it in their blood 100%. Anyone who says otherwise has absolutely no idea what they are talking about

First Take performance in Japan. It is a Japanese programme… Although XG are all born in Japan, they’re fluent in Japanese, Korean and English!! 🥹🥹amazing!!

What's cliche is the K-Pop format. Lots of generic songs. K-pop groups just copy from each other

Chisa Yelling - recreates a scene from Love Letter (1995) Japanese movie where characters husband is lost and never found in a snowstorm in the mountains. She goes there to yell out to him "How are you?". She replies to the echo. "I'm doing fine.", knowing the echo is the only response she will ever get.
Girls crying - they surprise each of them with a video message from their family who they really have not seen for 5+ years during their training.
This XG original song is a unique Christmas gift to us Alphaz and the World.

cocona is my bias because of her incredibly tone. bummer we didn't get that highlighted here as on new dance. BUT, hoooonestly, XG really hit r&b gold with Chisa and Maya. their voices on winter without you

She has such a strong stage presence, so many brilliant but not overbearing expressions.. i can never get bored watching her perform. Yes 👍🏽 XG are authentic about the genre they love and continually mention in their many interviews. During their training time they cover so many of the 90’s and 2000’s singers. JURIA even covered one of my mother’s favorite singers from the 70’s and because I’m older I was surprised because everyone who knows legendary singers back then would recognize the timeless Classic. I appreciate that you took time to react to their FIRST TAKE live performances. I agree that XG their tonal dynamics are Amazing in the group.
