What if a person does not have any mutations and no underlying health conditions? Patient is not eligible for transplant because of age? Can you address any of these questions?

i know. dont go to princess margaret hospital in toronto unless you want to die. The doctor we had could have saved my spouse, but refused to give him a top up.and it was too late.
My wife was diagnosed in October, and she has three rounds of chemotherapy. She has Flt3 mutation aml, the hospitals told us they can't treat her anymore to chemotherapy sessions, we have been together for 14 years, and we dont have any more options.

One of my parent is suffering from AML every chemo treatment given to her is failed like induction,FLAG-IDA, Decitabine with venitoclox. So we have continued Decitabine till today. It is normal for people with AML to get chills and fever and normal for their blood counts to go down. This is why they require constant blood and platelet transfusions. Now we have to wait one week to see if he has no more fever and they can start with the 2nd round. b.t.w. AML also gives one bone pain and so does the chemo :(

My father(51 years) was also diagnosed with AML(high risk) this year. Chemo was not working in his case. Venetoclax + azacitidine helped in lowering the TLC. Later the doctor added Midostaurin also.

My son was cured of APL leukemia. At time of admission his platelet count was 11,000 (250,000+ is normal) and 10,000 is usually fatal. 🙏
