God's mercy upon all, I was diagnosed Christmas weekend 2022(56 years old), was feeling sick several months prior. Was transported 125 miles to the Cleveland Clinic-My endless love and thanks to all in G111(Leukemia ward). Spent the month of January(2023) doing 7+3 chemo routine, had to return for 4 consolidation chemo stays on average of 6-7 days each Feb, March, April, and May. Fought many neutropenic fevers which required local hospitalizations and intense antibiotic treatment after each treatment. I obtained remission early (thank God) with no MRD. Although one mutation remained (dmnt3a) have been taking Onureg since June of 23 . I did not do BMT . This has been the toughest fight of my life, I am much better but things are not perfect-chronic fatigue, insomnia, nausea, and flu like symptoms on and off etc. Cannot return to full time work, the latest set back is with the State of Ohio that refuses to approve my disability claim. My everlasting thanks to Dr. Ali and Dr. Molina and many others from Cleveland Clinic I LOVE YOU ALL! And above all I thank God and the many prayers of the faithful that have sustained me. PTL always!

Companies & doctors love AML. Money into the bank. It's all about the money! They will take as much money for you & then you most likely goin to die. Stop supporting them & go out to enjoy what little time you have. My aunt had AML & always sick from all hospital visits. So my uncle signed those papers so they can not be sued. Sold everything & moved into Asian mountain without using USA's treatments & meds. She lived for 26 years

18 month survival rate for AML with chemo treatments is just prolonging my suffering! So then --why even bother going through all the chemo treatments when they can't guarantee that I'll still be alive in 15-18 months? I might as well just live my life the best way I can until this blood cancer finishes me off in another year. 😢
