    A very nice detail that is not mentioned here, you do NOT need to be connected to the internet for this device to work.
    Obviously, if you want to play something online you will need to be connected; but the connection will not be affected by the streaming.

    For anyone that cares I would just use Dramamine for motion sickness. Stuff has been around forever and always works like a charm for a long period with a generally low price to it especially in bulk. Take it from me knowing people who have no legs to stand on out on the water with big waves and do almost 5 mins after taking the pill lol

    I recently bought the low-latency headphones for my Quest VR device from PrismXR, and I have to say, they are a game-changer. The sound quality is exceptional, providing an immersive audio experience that truly enhances my VR gaming. The low latency feature is remarkable - the audio syncs flawlessly with the visuals, making the experience incredibly realistic. The headphones are also extremely comfortable, even during long gaming sessions, which is a huge plus. The build quality feels sturdy yet lightweight. What I also appreciate is how seamlessly they integrate with my Quest, no hassle in setup or connectivity issues. Top it off with responsive customer support, and you have a stellar product. Highly recommend for any VR enthusiast

    I got it all setup but when I launch steamvr from the VD button I get horrible lag right from the start. I have it on Prism Pulse Mode and WiFi is connected to my 2.4g because it won't allow 5Ghz in that mode. I can put it in 5Ghz wifi in hotspot but it won't work with VD in that mode. Anyone else having these issues. I can run it better without the Prism in airlink but wanted to get the best connection possible. This is WAY worse for steamvr. What have I done wrong?

      I also have big issues (at least for steamlink) there is a constant super high latency spike that steam shows me, around all 7-10 seconds. Unfortunately it's unplayable like that, it seems to be more fluid than my router but even more unstable with those big spikes.

    Hey there, very nice video, thank you for the reviews :)
    Iam in that spot, where money isn‘t the factor to find the best solution.. so do you think the Puppis S1 is there a better Option for wireless PCVR (if money wasn’t the factor to consider)? Wouldn’t a more expensive wireless router with wifi 6e (only used to connect my pc with my quest 3) achieve a better result? How is the latency in pcvr like HL:Alyx or Propagation.. can you do a follow-up video and show the numbers? Maybe (if your own system can provide) with at least a RTX 3000 or even better a 4000 series with av1?
    Thanks in advance!
    Good work, keep it up!

    • @jBahrVR
      @jBahrVR  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes, I do believe you would technically get more bandwidth and speeds out of a higher end dedicated wifi 6e router, however, using the Puppis I have had zero issues when streaming with the highest settings in Virtual Desktop. So the extra cost/performance seems like overkill more than anything.
      I typically get around 30-40ms for latency, which I have not noticed in game at all. I can definitely try to post a video when I can here. I monitor it frequently during my streams and have yet to have it fail for me :)
      Hope this helps!

    Bear with me, I’m not super tech savvy, but know enough to get me by. I’m also relatively new to the gaming scene at 42 lol… I played my share of madden in my teens but that’s about as deep as my gaming went. With that being said, the quest has sucked me into the gaming world rather quickly- more specifically, pop one in particular. Can’t get enough of it.
    My first question is in regards to the Puppis. I noticed you mentioned plugging it into your PC. I run my quest 3 stand alone, not through a PC. So would the Puppis still benefit me? And what would set up entail in my case? Would I hook it up to my existing router or modem? Like I said, I’m far from experienced in this realm lol.
    Second question- I already have an aftermarket head strap with battery pack for my Q3, but am intrigued by the belt battery pack. I definitely don’t get 5 hours with my current setup. My question is- could I run prismvr battery to my aftermarket head strap as it’s currently set up (essentially adding 5 hours to my current 2.5 hours). Or should I just bypass the aftermarket connection and just run it right to Q3.
    Sorry for the long winded questions. Love your reviews and love how responsive you are to questions. Thanks in advance and keep up the great work man.

    • @jBahrVR
      @jBahrVR  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello! VR is a great way to get back into gaming, happy you are enjoying it.
      Regarding the Puppis, it is only for creating a direct connection to your PC to play PCVR games, no benefit/use for standalone VR.
      For the Battery Pack, I think it would work either way. However, depending on the speed of charging your quest strap provides, your quest might drain the battery too fast. Personally I would keep it simple and just have one battery plugged directly into the Quest. But no harm in trying both options to see what happens :)

    Hi! I have a question about the battery strap as thats what led me here.
    So I bought my quest 3 last Christmas and with it i bought the elite strap with the battery. Now after using it i have noticed that the battery connects briefly then disconnects.
    Now even if it were fixed i would have the problem where its supplying 18 watts where the quest 3 requires 19.5
    So a no go.
    Then I heard prismxr has a 30 watt carry on charger.
    So my main question is, have you ever had the quest 3 disconnect from the battery pack? Like it just refuses to connect? Cause if not then this will solve all my family game night problems.

    • @jBahrVR

      Correct - this is just WiFi 6, but since its a dedicated connection WiFi 6 is perfectly fine. Wifi 6e is nice if you plan to use it as your home connected as well as for playing VR, but in my mind a dedicated connection is always best as it would not be affected by the typical traffic hitting your home network.
      You could always try to use one of your existing 5ghz connections, but my expectation is that you could have an inconsistent experience.

      Well the point of the Puppis is that it creates a direct connection to your PC, so it doesn't matter what the rest of your network is like. You just need to be able to be near your PC where the Puppis is to have a good connection.

      Yes this is a sponsored video, but it's also a review. I wasn't told or asked to say good things, and I make it clear in any of my collabs that it will be my honest take. I suppose it's up to you from there on how you want to trust the information.
      I still use the Vega T1s and Puppis as daily drivers during my streams, which I would not do if I thought they were not good products.

      @@jBahrVR It's why I always buy the Gaming Routers as they are set up to prioritise game systems over Mobile Phones and TV's or other PC's, most Routers if people do a little reading will have settings able to be set for prioritising certain devices over others as well as limiting or increasing bandwidth, unless of course you have a really nasty cheap Router.
      I think Puppis and devices like it are dependent on dumb people with no I.T Skill, if they can connect an external device I am sure they can learn to read the instructions for their router, or maybe even watch a TH-cam on how to set up their Router, or maybe even use the Money the Puppis would have cost and add it to the price of a much better router for their Home as a WiFi 6 Home Router helps everyone not just the Headset user ?
