Good video Justin. Just some supporting info about this product. I nearly used it in production, but I came across an issue where changes to a wall (for instance a wall opening) were not updated. Changes to a building proposal are very common, so this is an important issue that needed addressing. I notified the dev's and they took it on board, a few months later a beta version came out to resolve this issue. Very impressed and when time permits I will try to incorporate it into my workflow on future projects.

As always.... Just as amazingly informative and precise you could be..... Your videos have helped me out a lot more than I can express.....
I have one request.... If possible, could you please start a channel on Revit modeling for architects....
I love the way you explain and I know that it'll be hard to find a better tutor than you....

Hello Justin, Great video. This might be exactly what I'm looking for. My question is this: I"m using Medeek plugins to draw with. How would you break out different types of lumber such as 2x4, 2x6, LVL and such being that all of this gets dumped into one layer by the Medeek plugin?

I''d like to see if the plugin in free or not and how much it cost in the beginnig of the video. Don't want to waste another 20 mins to see the 80$ price tag.

If you apply the concrete material to just the face of the foundation, and then calculate cost based off of square feet, that isn’t taking into consideration the depth of the concrete? That could be a large cost difference for an 8” pour.

It depends on how you're calculating the cost. Often all of those things (form material, concrete material cost, etc) get baked into that square foot cost. Sometimes I'd break it out too - calculate form material and labor separate from material costs - its just depends, but those things are accounted for, but the key is if you get the square footage out of the model you can then calculate that however you want

Hi Justin, if I create a profile made by profile-builder extension, and stretch it using Curic Stretches extension.... will QuantifierPro show a correct profile length? I cannot try myself because CuricStretch dont have trial..

Do you know if I buy that extension if it will work with the free versions of sketchup? Or do I have to have SU pro?
