As a fluent English speaker from the Philippines, I can confidently say that Filipinos are highly intelligent. In fact, here's an interesting fact: we are the second most proficient Asian country in terms of English skills, with Singapore being the only country ahead of us.
Edit: Some of you guys don’t get that speaking English alone is not the only factor in determining how intelligent a person is.
Here are the eight types of intelligence and notice how the first one is Linguistic intelligence refers to the ability to use language effectively, including the skills of reading, writing, speaking and understanding languages. I will not explain the rest. You have to search them up yourself. I feel like a teacher teaching a bunch of kids stress levels through the roof.
    • Linguistic intelligence
    • Spatial Intelligence
    • Musical Intelligence
    • Bodily-kinesthetic Intelligence
    • Intrapersonal Intelligence
    • Interpersonal Intelligence
    • Naturalistic intelligence

Nope.

I love you guys. You made us proud. You are saving the root of being a Filipino. Filipinos have so many talents, not only singing. The thing is, few people recognize us. From boxing, beauty titles, snooker, bowling and you name it, a lot. People who criticizing us, they are only jealous. More power and keep up the good work.

I am a Spanish Filipino. Honestly, I am more proud of my Filipino Heritage compared to my other half.
I finished my Masters Degree at Berkley in California.
When I was there, the Summa Cum Laude was a Full Blooded Filipino student.
Remember Former Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago? When she was studying at Harvard, she was a classmate of Former US President George W. Bush.
Miriam Santiago Graduated a Two-Term Summa Cum Laude. George W. Bush? No accolades whatsoever.
Then there is Former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. Arroyo studied for two years at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service in Washington, D.C. where she was a classmate of future United States president Bill Clinton.
Needless to say, she was the more accomplished and awarded student compared to Clinton.
That tells a lot about the Intelligence of Filipinos.
Those who say the Filipinos are not smart are DUMB People.

Thank you bro! Being Filipino what I don't really like about the majoriry of us. Is being so proud, that tends to be overly reacting in such things like talents that is absolutely normal in any race. I think we should stay humble. Anyway if we are really good in a specific craft, we will definitely standout.

not necessarily proud because of being so “high” upon themselves it’s more of a respect & not ashamed of being a Filipino. More of a patriotism. That’s it.

As a Filipina who moved to the US when I was 12, I am missing the Philippines every time I watch your videos. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing us love! I am proud to be a Filipino and to this day I speak the language. I have met other Filipinos who moved here and have since stopped speaking their native language and had told me they don’t use it anymore and have forgotten how to speak them. I feel bad for them actually because they don’t know what they’re missing. Ok I’m going off tangent here but it just irks me when I come across Filipinos who aren’t proud to be FILIPINO! You, who isn’t even a Filipino loves our culture!!! Thank you for showing us love! More power to you and your channel!!! Keep up the great work! Much love and God Bless! - Mitzi ♥️🦋♥️

I think one of the things Filipinos are good at is being able to adapt and resilience in new places. That requires intelligence to learn new language and culture. I've been to many places where some foreigners have a hard time adjusting, whereas Filipinos keep going . They are not given enough credit for their hard work.

Im a filipino grade 10 student but i can confirm that not a lot of filipinos are intelligent, the mass majority of filipino comunity/population have an intelligent of an average intelligence but the others are not. Just because a one filipino accomplished something and invented something doesn't mean that all of their countrymen are as intelligent as them. For filipinos out there many of us (new generation) really craves for validations. Even the dumb ones because we're scared of falling behind the world. We've seen what the "sus makapag first year HS ka lang okay na yan" mindset did to a lot of adults/elderly people. Proper education should be affordable for everyone and lets not invalidate each other.
Edit: not all of filipinos speaks English and can understand english. Some of them just knows some basic english words and greetings and thats it. Reading comprehension and critical thinking is also seriously so disappointing. But again there's place for improvements its not too late for us to improve, we are still a developing country. We have s lot of things to improve at and to fix.

There is always danger in having just one story and not hearing other stories. Generalization is not the true entirety of a picture . THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS CLARIFICATION AND TRUTH . I SALUTE YOU

i know it might sound so proud but many filipinos who studied abroad have attained the acadamic excellence its maybe because of the mentality that we need to be validated to show the world that we can do things others can do,it is rooted from the insecurities that the spaniards instilled in our minds that we are indio, a servant, although the fact is they conquered the land and the gold and all the riches the phils have had. they have not only bruised the heart and soul of the filipinos, they destroyed and burnt it but just like phoenix, we come back from the ashes and become even stronger and a force to reckon with. CHAR.

As a Filipino, My only weakness is that I'm a huge liar... I can't even speak English.
    I also can't read.
