Here is an 8mm home movie looking out over McKeesport, Pennsylvania in 1964. The sound has been added in in post-production and isn't real sound recorded at the time.
That was home 16 Building Harrison Village from my youth until late teenage years. It was the safest place to live because everyone knew everyone parents and if someone came to your house and told your parents you were doing wrong it was law.
My Uncle Mark lived in the green duplex on 11th street till he passed in 2015 - the building 16 implosion was my last big family get together we have it filed and it's on here. As kids we walked all over this town in the early 1990's till 1AM without a worry - I spent every Christmas in that house back then.
@@davidmitchell6873 True but in 64 the mills would still be going strong for quite a while longer. Not sure what union BS means. The mills were fully unionized.
