    And them I discovered that "throw out" is not "throw away" 😢

      Hi Ricardo!
      That's a great point to bring up, as throw away and throw out are quite similar but with a few differences.
      You can throw a person out, meaning remove them from a place due to bad behavior. For example, if a person is being very noisy in a library, they might be thrown out; you cannot throw people away.
      Here is how I use these phrasal verbs:
      Throw away: To put rubbish directly in the bin.
      Throw out: To discard old furniture and remove larger objects from my flat that I no longer need.
      Take the rubbish out: To remove my weekly rubbish from my flat and leave it outside for the garbage truck.
      Please note that the use of these phrasal verbs may vary in British and American English!
