These clips are proof that Dr. Two’s Brains’ previous identity, as Wordgirl’s mentor, never truly died. The fact that he still encourages her, jokes around, tries to protect her from the battle he’s been fighting against the mouse brain, and shows genuine appreciation for her as a daughter/student is really sweet ❤️
The fact that Wordgirl couldn't resist the mouse brain shows how much Steven must be fighting. I kinda wish that there was a season finale where Steven returned, tying the show completely into a circle.
I think a good way it could’ve gone is in one of his he’s is the starts talking to himself and breaks his own machine to stop himself. Slowly he starts doing it more and more, until eventually he doesn’t steal anymore. The cheese cravings make him who he is though, so I think he would still eat mostly that, but he’d pay instead. He’d also keep his personality, just without him going to jail. Also unrelated but I feel like he would keep his design.
Okay if I did a headcanon for WordGirl… I would definitely make their relationship be father-daughter like. Congrats on making me fan-geek out for a moment there
Doc: "I don't think I like you hanging around that woman, Becky." WG: "But dad, she's so cool! I'm learning to be a better hero!" Doc: "Hurting people with insults isn't cool, sweetie. It's just mean. Is this really the kind of hero you wanna be?"
The Doctor trying to keep Becky away from a bad influence (Miss Power) even as she foils his evil scheme is really adorable. Concerned dad mode. He may not be the same good doctor he used to be, but a little bit of him may be left and cares about the kid.
Just imagine it: WordGirl is Rebecca "Becky" Boxleitner, a child adopted by good-natured engineer Dr. Steven Boxleitner, taken from the woods near a lab in Fair City's outskirts, instead of near a young hippie couple. Steven would find his little girl to love books of every kind, drinking up every book in his lab and working her way through half the public library by the age of 10. Unbeknownst to either of them, Becky was a host to outstanding physical powers, which she discovered on the same day a fateful lab accident occurred. That day, Becky returned home to find her father missing and the lab in shambles. Becky has to find her dad, figure out the truth behind her powers, and stop the rise of her hometown's supervillains, including the strangely familiar Doctor Two-Brains...
I have officially decided that I will do my best to write this fanfiction and maybe post it. But first I need to come up with a name and as you can probably tell by my username I suck at coming up with names, so if anyone could help me come up with one it would be highly appreciated.
@@Idk-5050 “The ballad of two brains.” ? “ a two sided story” ? What do you think of so far? “ story of WordGirl Boxleitner.” (sorry if I spelled that last one wrong) What do you think of my suggestions? I’m not sure if these are the best ones I can think of but if you like them so far, I’m sure I can think of better ones 😉
I love the trope of two characters on opposite sides having a close relationship to where they either A. Have casual conversation and act like the dynamic around their battles Or B. Are so conflicted on if they should fight are not And I’m surprised WordGirl, a PBS Show, does it well.
If I had a nickel for every time there was a character who had a normal past and close connection to one of the main characters, only for him to lose his sanity due to an external force and become a villian but also a comic relief AS WELL as being voiced by Tom Kenny, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
Remake of my last comment: I recently discovered cheese had the same chemical and triggers the same bit of the human brain as heavy drugs. His eyes are hella red, and I’m not saying this is why, but it totally could be
3:17 am I the only one who finds this hypocritical of 2 brains? I mean he has also verbally abused and mocked Wordgirl in the past yet now he wants to police her on this? I mean, sure I guess you can throw in the argument that the mouse brain influenced him to do all of these things and unlike Wordgirl he can’t really control his actions but it still does feel hypocritical of him to wag his finger at her like that especially since she’s just a kid and is more easily malleable than an adult.
i feel like it's cause he thinks it's alright for him to do that stuff since he's a villian, but thinks it's odd for wordgirl to bully others since he sees her as the hero
It’s different he does mock word girl but he only does it with intent I. Making her angry word girl has also mocked her villains with intent on making them angry in the past the mocking word girl is doing is meant to destroy self esteem and make people feel bad about themselves never once has be tried to make her feel bad about herself even he wouldn’t do that to anyone he understands that it’s not ok for anyone to do that hero or villain

3:17 AWWWW WHEN HE GETS ONTO WORDGIRL FOR BEING FRIENDS WITH MISS POWER AND BEING A BAD INFLUENCE ON HER AAAAAA ToT
A dad dealing with his daughters toxic friend influence
Doc: "I don't think I like you hanging around that woman, Becky."

He was the only other person in the show who would explain what a word meant.
