update: tried each flavour they offered. The classic, the miso, and the anchovy. I didn't miss a lunch during my whole stay in Osaka, I was here every day. Tried a couple others that weren't at their level yet better than what I've had in north america. Can't wait to return next year to have this for lunch again and again.

Everyone said go to Ichiran. So I went. I was underwhelmed. Their ramen was just passable to me. Now I'm back in my home country and see this video in my feed. No Ichiran in the list and the #1 shop is located near the hotel I was staying at! 😩. I need to visit Osaka again soon!
Ichiran is just famous one, but I can't say it's on the level of a top 10 ramen shop.
It's a ramen for tourists, and Japanese ramen lovers rarely eat it.
Please come to Japan again !
They're just famous because of franchising. It's like comparing McDonald's burger to a homemade burger.
I didn't know Osaka had that many Michelin ramen shops.
