These solvents are effective in removing dirt and grime, and they evaporate quickly, leaving no residue behind. However, they should be used with caution as they can damage certain types of plastics and rubber.
Hey, bro. Could you explain that a little more? The volume knob on my audio interface is noisy but only when there's sound coming out of the speakers, therefore I assume it's not rust or dirty. Might be what you say but I have zero knowledge in electronics and don't know what any of that means.
In addition to the crackling sound with the volume knob, I also hear a huge pop when turning power on/off. Is this a separate issue or will doing the above help with that?
@@sepita10 I ultimately got mine replaced since it was still under warranty as I didn’t want to spend $35 on contact cleaner, which is what the seller recommended

Crackling sound is caused by DC voltage over the wiper. Put capactior in series and it should be solved forever.

I have this issue but only when sound is playing, when no sound is playing, but my speakers are on, there is no crackling with the volume knob
