I was actually about to buy this for long range because it just makes it super easy and looks like fun, yeah serious risk but I didn’t care. But then I remembered the DJI geofence, only 500m Max height? Gtfo!
I agree....need to be able to go higher for mountain flying
Mavic Air 2 is better for long range. Or check out FalconFPV.

I have already seen a couple of videos with broken arms. Bardwell busted his. Have fun waiting while you send it back to DJI for repairs.

The Traxxas Aton drone had a "pause button" back in 2016. It's nothing new.
Yes. And so did RC helis with IKON flight controllers in 2010. They referred to it as a “bail switch”. It was the same type of auto-level. Also with gps hold.

You’re right. Logging is real. Turn it off if you want, but I have a really good experience to let you know that they are still monitoring your flights. Not so much to report you to the FAA, but to deny your warranty when you crash and broke some clause in the fine print of your deal.

@@dronecamps I might be interested in a Mini version, but I feel they screwed all of the V1 customers.
I would really like to see a better Air Unit Camera like at least 2k and a Vista with a DVR on board at least capable of 1080p - 60fps. Goggle only recording is pretty lame at 720p and you get the break up.
I still thank it is to much money.i thank it is too much to be a first time drone for most I would not spend 1000.00 on it for my first drone.that is a house payment for me
My first toy drone had a cheap remote controller like the dji one. It was so cool. I did crash it about 60x before it flew away, lol.
I have already seen a gopro mounted right on top of it.
