Cow isn't mad .Just a good mum defending her calf. The fault was yours for not giving her time to settle after calving . You really have to be more careful and take your time with newly calved cows .I speak from experience having had cracked ribs and bruises from new calvers and didn't get rid of any of them. Another excellent video. The hormones are running high during and immediately after calving so it is likely they will settle down in 12 - 24hrs. I’ve seen this first hand where some normally quiet cows will see you out the pen during and immediately after calving but have been otherwise easy to work with.

Hey mate ,love your videos 😊 I was working on a 3000 animal cattle farm and what I've learned in my short time there is that you must always approach animal slowly and calmly and mostly you will be fine. If you come jumping over the fence with a stick that would scare anyone don't you think 😂😂😂 Cheers mate Edit (Also I've forgot to mention I'm veterinary technician)

I think you were moving a tad too fast for that cow. If you had let her love up her calf a little bit she might have been ok. Some just are NUTS when just calving. I don't think that's her. Its tough to call when you are in that space. She was definetly defending her calf but I think if you had just done it a little different she might not have been so reactive. Specailly since she is in a new space and newly calved. That was a NICE sized calf! Great Content keep it up :)
Be patient! Don't ship that cow until she settles in. She's a good mom protecting her very new calf. Give her a day or two. Normally I would just want her shipped but she needs to be judged later but not now,
