ah yay! I'm so glad it was a hit!! This is one of those games I find myself going back to again and again when I just feel "stumped" because it's SO easy. woohoo!
Thank you, Ashley! I am going to try this on Monday with vocabulary and conditional. Thanks for clarifying what kind of worksheet will work best. Have a great weekend!
I tried this at the end of last year and my students LOVED it!!! I will definitely be using it this year. I do need to get some small containers for the dice- some kids spent most of the time chasing the dice after it clattered to the floor. 🤦🏻♀️
I have a worksheet prepared with 6 blank verb charts on each side. (Front and back) You can do this as a whole class relay race by splitting the class in half, or in groups (ideally 4-5 people) competing against the people in the same group. (1 winner per group) I call a verb and translate it, and then tell them students , "tres, dos, uno, ve!". The first person to have all sections filled correctly (accents count!) gets the point, for themself or for their team. The person or team with the most points wins a prize.
This looks so fun and creative. I will be playing this game with my class.
I hope they love it!
I did it today as a review for the chapter test. The kids Loved it!!! I will definitely do this again. I love your idea of the boxes for dice as well.

LOL YES. That is EXACTLY why I like to have the little containers! Check out your local dollar store, they usually have some!
I am going to try to add this game to my Spanish classes in the fall. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
ahh hurray! Let me know how it goes for you :)
This is great!!! I am so excited to add this to my list of games for this year! :) 🤩
yay!! you'll have to let me know what your students think once you try it out!
My students like Quizlet Live to review. I will try “Mi Lápiz” next school year.
Let me know what they think! We love Quizlet Live, too!
Definitely going to do this. What kind of rewards do you give?
honestly, I'm a big fan of the big class round of applause/cheer. It is FEW and far between that I might give a piece of candy like a starburst!
I have a game I call 'Carrera de verbos' for when we're learning conjugations.
oooh how do you play? like a relay race to conjugate?
Yes please share how do you play Carrera de verbos?
