Hi ! From NYC/ Long Island. Everyone here pretty much says Pee-A-Knees 😂 This reminded me when I was watching You tube and the person said they just started taking Vit ( Like sit) Vit-amins… @1st I was like ?? I love when you hear someone pronounce a word differently then what your use to saying. Have a Good night 💤
Ok when ever I see inlays done. It’s one coat of a paint. Let dry apply another coat of paint press inlay into paint as smooth as possible. Wet it with a sprayer. Dab off water. Let dry. Reapply water with mister. Peal it back to review the image. Has to be a mineral paint too. That’s probably why the clear coat didn’t work. But that’s what crafting is about. And believe me when I say, I get fails too. Lol love your channel. Keep on crafting ❤
I'm in utah and say peony the same as you! I think that container looks fabulous! Oh darn, I was so looking forward to success in the gas/oil can without paint. I've heard that inlays only work on chalk paint. I'm watching to see how it works with the resin paint. Wow, looks great!
Hello from Michigan we say pee o knees here the way you heard other ppl pronounce it, i love having them grow in my yard except for the huge amount of ants that crawl all over them😂
Love them all. Interested in trying the 24 hour resin. Will you please share the brand and where you got it. Thanks. I am not fond of the messiness of clay. And I think for selling the resin would be more durable. I may try the paint inlays just because of your tenacity and honesty. You’ve really shred your tips and failures, thank you.
The paint inlay are great after you get used to them. But as you can see I still mess them up sometimes. I got the 24 hour resin on Amazon and I really like it. www.amazon.com/Epoxy-Resin-Kit-Countertop-Cheeseboard/dp/B07YCVVYFK?pd_rd_w=XECG4&content-id=amzn1.sym.724fac2e-0491-4f7a-a10d-2221f9a8bc9a&pf_rd_p=724fac2e-0491-4f7a-a10d-2221f9a8bc9a&pf_rd_r=KK2X5QC9C6NK8QRYTNAV&pd_rd_wg=925nx&pd_rd_r=c7d648f2-567a-4df0-9ef6-438dd560c9ee&pd_rd_i=B07YCVVYFK&ref_=pd_bap_d_grid_rp_0_26_i&th=1
Beautiful projects! I love the bee mailbox flip! If you Google how to pronounce peony and listen to the way it’s pronounced pee uh knee, that’s exactly how we pronounce it in NJ. I’ve heard a few other crafters here on TH-cam from some southern states pronounce it just like you though. Just like we pronounce the word coffee like caw fee here in NJ. It’s crazy how many different accents there are depending on where you live in the U.S. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
What type of clear coat did you use underneath the paint inlay? I definitely remember acid wash jeans 🤣 I grew up saying PEEony. The hooks with IOD critters on them was so cute!
Susie- you are a stitch! I live in Wisconsin and we say pee-on-ee. Say it fast and it comes out Peony. I’m a messy crafter, too. My clothes have spots of paint and sealer on them. I usually forget to put my apron on! The ideas flow too fast!
I am a very new beginner with using transfers. I started with some from Dollar Tree and my project turned out just great. I liked the feel of them. They blended in very well. So then I ordered and tried some from Amazon. Those appeared to be good quality. After I applied the transfer it felt to me like a sticker on my piece. It was too thick. I had to sand it to death!!! It was also very bright so I put white wax on it. My question is do the IOD transfers feel thick like that. I want it to look like it has always been there. I don’t want to see the edges of a transfer like I would with a sticker. I’m starting to the think that maybe I would really like the paint inlays. Thank you!! Have a great day!!
IOD transfers are like they have always been there. Some people do sand them just to distress them but you can't tell it's not painted into the project. The inlays definitely are not perfection but they aren't meant to be. OF course the cost of the IOD is much more. As a reseller it is worth it though. I love using them! Thanks for watching Robin!
What Resin did you use on the mould ? I would much rather wait for the mould to set, opossum to being rushed to get the Resin all in the moulds before it starts to set.
I ordered this one on Amazon. I really like it. www.amazon.com/Epoxy-Resin-Kit-Countertop-Cheeseboard/dp/B07YCVVYFK?pd_rd_w=XECG4&content-id=amzn1.sym.724fac2e-0491-4f7a-a10d-2221f9a8bc9a&pf_rd_p=724fac2e-0491-4f7a-a10d-2221f9a8bc9a&pf_rd_r=KK2X5QC9C6NK8QRYTNAV&pd_rd_wg=925nx&pd_rd_r=c7d648f2-567a-4df0-9ef6-438dd560c9ee&pd_rd_i=B07YCVVYFK&ref_=pd_bap_d_grid_rp_0_26_i&th=1

Me too with the Vit-amins! I have heard that before.
I am in IL and I put the emphasis on the P. I have that IOD set and I love them! You have given me some good ideas😊
My mom always called them
Pee-nees so that’s how I say it too.
We’re in upstate NY ❤
I pronounce Peonies like you do but I am a southern as well. West Tennessee!!!
In Australia we pronounce peonies the same as you southerners. It is really funny how other Americians pronounce the flower.

Lol. My mother in law called it Pie knee.
Hey y’all
Love the letter holder. I wonder if it would have been nice to distress the lemons too.
I thought about it but I really liked the stark contrast against the black.
I accent the "P". In Missouri!
Oh I thought it was the way you say it. Of course I also say " Li berry" for library so I might not be the best one to ask lol
In the northeast we emphasize the P😊

I'm from Wisconsin and we pronounce it with accent on the Pee....PEEonies....
What type of clear coat did you use underneath the paint inlay? I definitely remember acid wash jeans 🤣 I grew up saying PEEony. The hooks with IOD critters on them was so cute!
I used minwax polyacrylic. Thanks for watching Ellen!

In Texas we say PEE oney
Susie would you mind sharing what resin you use and where you get it? I would like to try using that with my moulds. Thank you.

Yes! I mispoke as I often do when doing voiceovers! thanks for watching Judy!
