I LOVE listening to podcasts while working in my kitchen. I got hooked on true crime, just before the Murdock trial, and have been watching or listening to a variety of murders solved years later, etc. I especially enjoy the ones where security cameras on homes and businesses, pick up evidence that is later used to convict a suspect. I can't understand how so many spouses think they can get away with murdering their spouse!! I told my husband, if anything happened to him, and police searched my phone, they would likely have a lot of questions regarding all the murder cases I watched!;LOL!!
    Loved your makeovers!!

I just found your video, I am subscribing to your video's. I recently went to pick up a free AC. Well, he had a big pile of "stuff". He was giving everything away for free. I got a large metal white leaf wall hanging. I think I counted 40 leafs and vines. I will be repainting it at some point, but we did hang it in our entryway. We also got a metal garden border. It's In 40 8x14 sections that interlock. I cleaned them all up & will be using them in our flower bed. But I also got something that you showed in this video. A bird cage!! Right now it's kinda lime green, but I want to repaint it maybe a rustic red. I think I will use it for a live plant, maybe a string of pearls, but definitely a plant that will grow between the bars and hang flowing outside. I'm new to repurposing. I'm 67 & partial disabled. I am BORED!! So I have been collecting things & am finally going to get started. I am going to do some jute planters, then I think I will do the birdcage. We just moved into this little house, not much in the way of furniture, but I find things here & there. I decided to do crafts since I can't walk or stand very long. I can sit. Oh, and my husband is going to build a few pallet planters for me. I'll do some staining & get a small garden going.
Loved your video & I did subscribe. ♥️

@@ReinventedDelaware thank you. I have sat around long enough doing nothing. I use to sew & enjoyed bringing life back into old furniture by painting. Then I got sick. One day I was walking everywhere, the next I was falling down without any notice. I've had 2 back surgeries & am trying to get another. I can sit & do what I can. My husband cuts things for me, & I do my best to put them together. I use to love gardening, flowers, cactus, so I am trying to do that too. But I loved your video & have subscribed. Thanks for your inspiration. ♥️ Joyce

I wanted to share what I thought when you asked "any ideas for this little bird cage"? It's a cut cage, an if you can hang it from an old bird cage bracket near the window..wow. Try using a live "string of pearls" plant inside the cage and hang it. "The strands of green pearls will gracefully hang down at different lengths. (Additional thought) Perhaps add a fishing line with a 3 inch drop from the center bottom with a cut crystal to shimmer its colored prisms on the walls from a beam of sunlight.
I just bumped into your video today.. I'm very impressed. I can't wait to get back to see more. you're doing great. 🙂

Hi, this is my first time watching you. I truly enjoyed your video n your bloopers.
First of all, I’m thrilled that you didn’t paint that mirror. I’m a real antique nut n for you painting it would of broken my heart. It really turned out nice. And thank you for the trick with super fine steel wool. Never knew you could put transfers on a lamp shade or cloth for that matter. It turned out super cute. I would love to try out that gold gilding wax. I use rub n buff but I think I’d like your type better. As that lamp looked perfect with its new lamp shade. You also showed me how to make a new glider that goes over the light. Definitely gonna try it. As I have all over my house little lamp lights. I do it in memory of my son who was killed in auto accident. I alway told him a light will always burn for you.
Thanks so for all your tricks n ideas. Fun video. ♥️😊👍👍🌟🌟

I've just found you and already learned a few things about shining up the mirror...back door of course, ..I don't even have a key to my front door lol. I think your birdcage should be hung with a real plant like a 'creeping Jenny?' next to the plant stand by your door. They sorta go together... and I enjoy your husband's willingness to help and at the same time bring you stuff 😮 to work on. God bless!

One of my projects that is much admired and even copied on my street are my house numbers. I salvaged a discarded picture frame. It is plastic that was molded in the shape of very intricate and ornate wrought iron. I cut a thin sheet of wood to fit inside the frame and purchased house numbers to attach to the wood. I painted the frame and the wood in colors to coordinate with my home exterior. It looks like very expensive custom work, but it was mostly FREE (giggle). Anyone can easily use the idea. Just keep an eye out for an inexpensive and particularly beautiful frame that compliments the architecture of your home. Remember when you choose your color scheme that the color of the house numbers needs to contrast with their background.
