I've watched this video about 20+ times, and have showed it to everyone I could. I swear this is my new hair goal! Never had weave before but the way this one looks, I'm inspired
Kiki Mome I walked around the shopping strip in my home town with a beanie on half of my head because I ran out of weave and the beauty supply was closed
Just decided I wasn't going to stress my arms out with doing this but then you come thru with the Senegalese tut! *Heading to beauty supply store ASAP*
Omg 😲... this hairstyle look so popping but I don't have the patience. I tried doing box braids last week and girrrllll they turned into JUMBO braids real quick..
You actually explained that one part great about twisting the finger around the hair in a very simple way. That one little tip helped me. It was like a light bulb went off in my head.
So I'm mixed and my entire life I've whitewashed myself (especially in elementary school) cuz people would make fun of me for having interracial parents. I'd never go outside because I didn't want to tan (I was literally as pale as a ghost) and I'd always bleach my hair and straighten it because I wanted to be like one of the pretty blonde white girls at my school. Now I'm trying to embrace my culture and I really want to try protective hairstyles but I'm kinda afraid cuz of how white I look. I'm starting to get a bit darker but I still look kind of white and I'm so afraid of culture appropriation. Do you think it's ok for me to try this? I really want to and my dad really wants me to as well cuz he's happy I'm trying to embrace my black side more but I'm just a little nervous. My friends told me that they can tell that I'm mixed now but idk I'm still worried Oops this is long so no ones probs gonna read it but it's worth a shot:)
Kaya S Who cares I don't know why people always scream cultural appropiation when you aren't doing anything negative. It's your hair you do what you want to.
It's your culture as well so rock it! You obviously don't look 100% Caucasian so embrace the change. You would not be included in culture appropriation. You're embracing your culture.
Just so you know my love is raining everyday here. Sometimes morning, sometimes evening. Its raining right now and my kids and I had to cancel our beach day. I'm glad you braided your hair and hope you have some nice spa days planned
As a light skin chick with EXTREMELY afro-ish hair because of my ancestors I think I might try this. I have had box braids before and it turned out to be soooo healthy for my hair. Right now my hair is in a very poor state because I brush the heck outta it to keep it at least wavy instead of all tangled up every day, and after a full day of work I have trouble getting a brush through it. I was actually thinking about cutting a big strand off after fighting with it for an hour to get it untangled after not brushing it for 6 hours. Thank you for the tutorial!
I got loop jewelry at the 99 cent girlllll and they are cute..... affffffff . They got rose gold . Gold .. silver...... and the pack came with 10 different rings.... got gold leaf on it and butterfly . Girl ccheck your 99 cent girl!
About how many twists do you think you had in your hair? I was thinking of parting my hair into 4 sections then separating each of the sections into 8/9 smaller sections for my twists which will give me either 32/36 twists total. Just wondering if you knew because your twists sizes are perfect! Not too small and not too big!
Ifenna Cos-Okpalla I did mine on my own and I have about 46 total in my hair. I parted my hair into four sections and the back had 8 in each section. Then the front I did more because it was my first time doing it on myself and I didn’t want the parts to be too chunky in the front. I think next time I’ll do about 36 total to have chunkier twists.
For those of you wanting to try, I definitely suggest practicing a regular 2 strand twist on your natural hair before attempting this. There is a certain way you have to twist the hair to get this look and it sounds confusing but you’ll get it!
Hi! So I’m trying this style right now from your tutorial. Thank you for making it simple! I don’t even know how to french braid or flat twist and I’m able to do this. I’m still doing it so I’ll let you know how it goes. ps: I’m doing this myself because no matter how many times I tell people not to twist my hair too tight they still twist too tight...so since I can’t get someone to do it right, I’m doing it myself.
I'm looking to rock this style and have been wanting to do it for months. My only hesitation is that I'm told it will only last like 2 weeks. Any tips or suggestions? Also, how long did yours last (approximately)?
This was a DISAAAASSSTTEEERRRR for me!!! Lol I think I just suck at twisting... But I flat twist my natural hair all the time... I'm currently crying lol
Hey Ms. Sadora! Thanks for the inspiration for my next doo. I've done these with Havana hair but not with kanekalon so I can't wait!! Oh and I requested your hair growth oil on the last video so I hope you send me one please...
I really want to do braids like this, but I've never used hair (hair not of my own?? ) before and i dont feel like i should because i have (more than ) enough hair to go around. But do i really need to use extra hair for this style? Its really cute and I wanna try it 😩
xxxhopefulhoseokxxx They're just twists, if you feel like you have enough hair on your own you can definitely just twist your own hair. Ut might be better to aim for smaller twists than these though.

Kaya S Who cares I don't know why people always scream cultural appropiation when you aren't doing anything negative. It's your hair you do what you want to.

Senegalese squad!!!!
I love this look 😍. How many packs of hair did you use?
This is beautiful! What is type of hair did you use and how many packs???
This was a DISAAAASSSTTEEERRRR for me!!! Lol I think I just suck at twisting... But I flat twist my natural hair all the time... I'm currently crying lol
Stunning!!! I just took mines out yesterday and replaced it with yarn. The ends kept unraveling after i dipped them😔
Mrsashley82 Did you feather the ends?
Yes!
The next time you do this style lightly burn the ends before you dip and it will stay in place.
Mrsashley82 tie the bottom in a knot cut the end then dip
you can also braid the tips so they won't unravel
Just placed order hope it make my edges grow thicker....free shipping was a +!!!! Ttys
What type of hair did she say that she used? Love the twists and you are beautiful 💕

xxxhopefulhoseokxxx They're just twists, if you feel like you have enough hair on your own you can definitely just twist your own hair. Ut might be better to aim for smaller twists than these though.
