Ran out of time to finish, but so far, it's a lovely tour of the many studios of Queen Pilates! Will be back to complete when time allows. Damn work gets in my way!
Wow! That was a LOT - in a good way! But never have I so wished my machine had a yellow spring. The modifications I was making. 😅 Thanks for a long class. Just what I was wanting. ☺
@@MelanieLopezPilates I've got a Merrithew At Home SPX. It's great, but no yellow. The pulleys are closer to each other (they're inside the rails) than on your machine so I often have to guard my face or risk rope burn when doing side lying leg exercises. 😲But other than those two things, I love it. It's very comfortable for me, which was important since I'm short and small framed. I've never taken an in-person class so I'm not sure if I have the adjustments set up properly, but it seems okay. For mods, mostly just getting as close to the pulleys as possible to reduce spring tension, or using my other hand for help. Just looks silly, but maybe I'll eventually be strong enough for blue on those exercises. 😊
tbh i never had a yellow before i got this machine, and sometimes it saves my *** 😅 merrithew SPX is a well-regarded machine, so i think you chose well. very interesting about the pole placement, though! i wasn't aware of that. if you've never taken a class with a live instructor, i recommend it if you're able to find someone local. even just once can give helpful context. i also can do virtual sessions on zoom, if you ever want to do a spot check on your setup, form, modifications etc. feel free to reach out via IG or email anytime (email address is in my bio/video descriptions). xox
This is such a good beginner playlist, you have such a calming and informative way of teaching. Thank you for making this! I love the background lighting you use
thank you so much for your kind words! i just truly love teaching, and it's a pleasure to be able to reach so many people here. glad that you are here :)
This was excellent - so many series that I love! One request - love your text pro-tips and jokes - need them to be on screen longer. I have to keep getting off the reformer and turning off the class and rewinding to see what you said...
thank you so much for the feedback! i've been working on this more over the last year (these are mostly older) and it's something that bears repeating, so i really appreciate the notes!
This looks awesome! You should make another at the end of the year- Best of 2024 compilation.
Brilliant idea - thank you!! 💜

Pesky employment! lol. Thanks so much, Katy - hope that you enjoy the rest of it :)
Ok, finally finished it. Of course, it's amazing; like everything you do!

I LOVE this as a celebration of Pilates and your teaching
That is amazing - thank you so much for sharing this with me!
