About how high can u raise your foot : there is no problem to raise it as much as you can if no one is around the ball you are shooting , but if there is any opposition close to the high foot its a foul & indirect free kick if u don't hit him
& if you hit him with minimal contact it will be a yellow card at least & a direct free kick (when it is not intentional & not too reckless/dangerous)
& the Ref can decide to give you a red card if it was too reckless or too dangerous or if there was intention to harm the opposition
Another thing about people flopping & over the top reactions to being fouled is the fact that if you go up and fight back (or even get furious about it) you will get punished for that with a yellow or red card , so the best way (sadly) to react if you get hit is to fall down & ask the Ref to punish the opposition (but some players over do it like Neymar for example & we hate it but you can't blame them)
Stepping on people hurts like crazy because they got metal studs and the cloth is super thin specially by the laces. Usually it’s an automatic yellow or maybe straight red depending how bad the tackle was

ive dealt with a lot of injuries, most from sports some off sports, broke my wrist in a car accident, finger broken (stupid accident) concussion snowboarding, rotator cuff tore working out etc etc.. but one of the worst pains i dealt with was being kicked in the knee, it didnt break or anything but i couldnt extent my leg for about a week.. was playing football guy went to kick the ball running towards me, kicked me dead center in the knee.. honestly the most painful thing i dealt with lol. so i have an idera of what a lot of these guys deal with when being kicked in the shin or knee or ankle.. but whenever anytthing is to the knee it just makes me cringe hard.
