Well, definitely consumed with grief that my favorite guitar player of all time is not with us anymore, but this man was SO cool when I did get to hang out just as all his shows got cancelled. I think I may have had some of the last real 3 days he had. We did party down and had the best margaritas and Mexican food in Nashville. What a blessing to get to hang with the Bresh man, a REAL human being! Bummed I didn’t get more, but a miracle for the time we had! Especially to get to meet and play with your favorite guitar player
I’m back and forth throwing flattop guitars on a yard bonfire right now, lemme get back with you. Geez. That is just humbling. And just laid back down to earth guys blazing the heck out of it. Gotta go, the fire runs low, gonna go ahead and throw mandolins on there too, just in case.
Tom is an amazing guitar player. The other guy ? Well ... he's pretty good too! Brian for over 20 years I've been Blessed that we worked together and to have you as part of my family and to be playing around the world with you. You just continue to get better. All of our to you! Ron & Renee
Breshman! You not only have amazing guests, but you are an absolutely amazing guitar man. You have an extremely charming technique and even more charming personality to boot! Looking forward to seeing/meeting one day in music city!
Wow! Bluegrass cross-picking verses finger picking. Who could possibly judge which style is superior? I can’t. Flat picking has always been easier for me, although I did purchase a Merle Travis guitar book about 30 years ago and couldn’t get the hang of it. I did meet a guy in Oregon who learned Merle’s picking style from him personally and he offered to give me lessons, but I was trying to support a family and just couldn’t sacrifice the time back then, some 30 years ago. My loss and the worlds gain I reckon.
Wow. Mr Lonbeck's part is such a ( insert superlative) so not natural but totally oirginal. Heard Mr Bersh play this ( well recordings) before and of course Merle and Eddie but the two guitar version here wow...
The guitar on the stand at screen right is the first ever solid body electric, the predecessor to all solid body guitars including the Telecaster, Strat., and the Les Paul. Designed by Merle Travis (Thom's biological father) and built by Paul Bigsby, it was the very guitar that Leo Fender borrowed to copy and build the Telecaster. The Travis/Bigsby guitar should be in shrine somewhere!
AWRIGHT Guys, when's the record coming out ?? This can be the first track. You guys were awesome at the Geekfest and could have played for another hour, if there was time. THANKS
masterful playing. just change those 'BRESH TV' voice-overs and logos and I think it would take it up a notch. you need something more organic that represents you.

Brilliant!
Brian is a brilliant player and musician. He doesn’t play. He makes music. He composes as he plays. And the compositions are never not fascinating.
Mean ...! Beautiful ...! Rich mellifluous ....
You really got it!

At least first solid spanish style. Never knew Merle designed it tho I have known of Bigsby's building if it.
"get it son" . .. smokin' !!
No wonder he took that that deep breath.
I mean DAMN!
The different stray chords, if I’m saying it correctly, makes Thoms music stand apart. Not a dissonant, but slightly up or down abit
Smokin em
You can regard the "thumbs down" button as the "insanely jealous" button.
If i had only 10% of that rythmic talent..
Fun Fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just smashed my guitar into small pieces....
Me too. Couldn’t even come close in my lifetime.

Like to feel that Bigsby over in the right hand corner. Never saw a real one, just the ones in the book.
Hey Thom, Brad here... I see he was tracking these songs you guys did video's of? Any way I could get the audio files from them? Thanks!
