8 year ago I went to kolkata for SSC exam. In examination room most of candidates were from bihar and jharkhand. The invigilator came and started explaining rules in Bengali. We requested invigilator to explain in hindi as most of us don't know bengali language. Invigilator replied in hindi "tum log bengal aye ho mai bihar nhi aya". Then again he started talking in bengali. Bengali people with bengali language on bengal land have another level of attitude. They are living in self pride. This is not only with bengal we are getting devided on cast, religion and now on basis of language and this hatred is also obstacle in our growth.

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. When you are hosting a National Entrance exam, you should give instructions in Hindi or English. But the problem is, the teachers are mostly from Bengali (medium) background, and they are not that fluent in Hindi. Though, nowadays I have seen them giving instructions in English.

I have been a victim of Bengal corruption in the medical education sector during both Communist and TMC period, and i can absolutely relate to that. The spiritual purity of Bengal is lost completely. It is a land of super corruption and hence I believe whoever rules Bengal, they will indulge in corruption and falsehood as corruption is visibly contagious in Bengal.

It made me realise that Bengal as a state had suffered sooo much. 3 partitions, 2 faminies, communal violence, discriminating policies of central govt, refugee crisis, communist rule for 34 years, now tmc for 12 years. It's really saddening to see that in what conditions the eastern states are in the present times given the fact of their rich history. New Town is Developed. But whole West Bengal is not developing. Howrah can be a good option for Second Technical hub. Siliguri can be a good option for Industrialisation. Durgapur and Asansol has potential. But unfortunately they are not developing in a sound and proper manner. Job culture is not upto the mark. I'm from Kolkata. My great grandfather father came here for better future, but today I feel saddened to see such a great failure of our State due to it's politics. I request all the people of Bengal to unite and makes sure that we reclaim our position as the most industrialised state of India. 8 year ago I went to kolkata for SSC exam. In examination room most of candidates were from bihar and jharkhand. The invigilator came and started explaining rules in Bengali. We requested invigilator to explain in hindi as most of us don't know bengali language.
Invigilator replied in hindi "tum log bengal aye ho mai bihar nhi aya". Then again he started talking in bengali.
Bengali people with bengali language on bengal land have another level of attitude. They are living in self pride.
This is not only with bengal we are getting devided on cast, religion and now on basis of language and this hatred is also obstacle in our growth.

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. When you are hosting a National Entrance exam, you should give instructions in Hindi or English. But the problem is, the teachers are mostly from Bengali (medium) background, and they are not that fluent in Hindi. Though, nowadays I have seen them giving instructions in English.

I have been a victim of Bengal corruption in the medical education sector during both Communist and TMC period, and i can absolutely relate to that. The spiritual purity of Bengal is lost completely. I'm a Bengali. I feel sad seeing how a state having fertile land and intelligent people got reduced to this through the politics of cpi, cpi (m) and now tmc. You forgot to touch upon the blatantly porous border, allowing illegal immigrants from Bangladesh and now Myanmar to enter in the state to change demography has happened for decades now. It started from cpi time. They get aadhar, pan, voter card and even Indian passports to vote for tmc. Central govt policies are passed off as tmc policy to rural bengalis. People don't vote en masse for tmc. There is booth capturing, beating up of people trying to vote and even false votes cast. I feel maybe things have gone beyond repair now. Centre has given up on Bengal it feels at times
why dont u expel muslim from west Bengal and asaam , muslim from Bangladesh could expel hindu why couldn't u

Insightful Analysis Sir. It made me realise that Bengal as a state had suffered sooo much.
3 partitions, 2 faminies, communal violence, discriminating policies of central govt, refugee crisis, communist rule for 34 years, now tmc for 12 years. I don't know how many regions in the whole world let alone India have suffered so much throughout history.
The present condition is bad. However, this analysis makes me believe that Bengal had, has and will always have strong potential for improvement.
We need strong leader irrespective of any political party, who has known our glorified past & horrible suffering, someone who has SPINE. That leader along with the educated youth can bring about the positive change in Bengal
True. I am not a bengali and didn't know about the history of Bengal. But I now understand that downfall of Bengal is partially due to external reasons like British, refugees etc. I believe that bengal can resurrect with correct leadership

It's easy to keep your own ideas and build prejudices in your head from outside. I live in a totally different part of the country and I too had such wrong notions. I am not saying tmc, cpim did good. But saying they created it completely on their own and then blaming the people of Bengal, who by the way are our own countrymen, is equivalent of saying India won Cricket 2011wc just cz of one six from Dhoni 😄

Being a Bihari, I appreciate your content which you made about Bihar. It's really saddening to see that in what conditions the eastern states are in the present times given the fact of their rich history. The public of these states should be very cautious in electing their respective state leaderships. I would say atleast Bihar receives wholesome amount of central funds but the corrupt state leadership and the bureaucrats utilise almost less than the half of it for the development works and build their bank balance with the rest of the amounts.
Same here in bengal...eastern states are in deplorable conditions due to havoc corruption, no proper leadership and lack of future planning. Odisha is except of this. That state is shinning because of the cm Navin ji. We need leader like him.
