Back in the day, I used to love it when thunderstorms occurred on my way to or from school. I really enjoyed being caught outside in them with my friends and classmates. They are especially awesome at night, a great sleeping pill. Heavy rain is a great sound in the roof or windows, thunder and lightning or not.
You know that you are way too close when the is no delay between the flash and the thunder. That probably would have freaked me RIGHT out. (I had a close one like this. that was the most amazing and scary experience I have ever had.)
well done photography! excellent job! I suggest how ever that you look up the national weather services definition of what constitutes a severe thunderstorm. as the the storm filmed was no where near that catagory
God speaks to us through a thunderstorm! He is commanding us to repent of our sins, ask Him for forgiveness, and receive His Son Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour and God! God bless you all! Thank you
