The Wyck Association has an heirloom cookie press that has been used to make cookies at the Wyck House for the last 200+ years. It’s still functional, but is very delicate due to its age.
To preserve this incredible piece of history, Verde Mantis is going to create a 3D Model of the original cookie press, and then “print” the cookie press on a Mantis 3D Printer. This will ensure the beautiful design lives on into the future, and even enables users around the world to print their own copy of this beautiful Antique Cookie Press.
We’re honored to be a part of this project, and are excited to show how 3D Printing Technology can be extremely useful for the preservation of historic items.
