I'm so happy to have come across this video after several years since its post. What a beautiful keepsake for this couple and their extended family and friends. Both the groom and the vocalist providing harmony blended with perfection. The accompanist skillfully framed the gift of it all. To the couple...many happy returns of the day!
Me and my wife got married 28th September 2018 and i had this song played as she walked up the aisle. She had no idea about this song and she instantly fell in love with it. Thanks for creating a life long memory.
Its straight from the heart and it’s a celebration of his joy in song in being united in marriage with his beautiful bride and he is singing his heart out for the world to know. The emotion in it makes the hairs on my neck stand. The harmony and the resonance is something else. But what I was also watching is the family dynamics, the other brothers and parents are passive except for his mother wiping a tear. The matriarchy has being passed on to his sister Bronagh who has it choreographed and timed to the precision of the best Swiss precision time piece and delegated this so she’s not to miss a beat in the church. The bride does not enter till he has stopped singing and even the priest is taken by the dynamics of the great joy. A beautiful show case to the world of what’s best about Ireland.
That was so sweet, performing at his own wedding, a truly meaningful song. After reading the comments, I did go back to the voice and see his performance. Well done at both!

singing your wife down the isle is probably one of the most romantic things a man can do for his wife... pretty much leaving yourself vulnerable infront of all your friends and family, who you might ever sing for in their entire life... not to mention maybe he just learned how to sing just for this reason.
