      Or a Toaster Oven as it is just a small electric oven. Especially a convection type toaster oven, as those work more like air fryers but in an oven shape.

      @@stigrabbid589 Air friers ARE small scale convection ovens, it's the circulating air that makes the distinction. They also don't offer intense enough heat to properly seer a steak, you need more direct heat to trigger a Maillard reaction.

      So fun thing…there is a difference in microwaves! Actual microwave OVENS can cook small turkeys and have special metal inserts.
      Most microwaves in the daily use can do neither cook a Turkey or use metal.

    A better option than a regular toaster would be to use a toaster oven. I've used it to make grilled cheese if i dont want to pull out a pan, also have used it to cook and warm plenty of other things. Its safer and easier anyways.

    yeah I once tried to reheat a dumpling in a microwave... only two minutes & the whole kitchen was filled with smoke. Now I never leave the microwave working, unattended

      I always reheat in short bursts of about 20 seconds each. Could also put thinks like meat into glass cookware and that tends to keep more of the moisture.

    I will say, I have done the square hash browns in the toaster for years. And will continue to. The frozen ones the same size and shape as a pop tart. It drips a little grease but I've never had any problems. You just wipe the bottom and insides out afterwards to clean. I wipe mine out no matter what I cook though. Other than that, I just do bread, bagels, and a poptart maybe once a year.

    while the lemon in coffee is gross and most likely isn't aiding in weight loss, i don't see why the main focus seemed to be that it was harmful?? people already drink coffee and lemon water. unless mixing the 2 together creates another affect i'm not aware or just skipped over??

      That was my thought. The only thing I can think is maybe it's the only thing people are drinking so maybe they are getting too much coffee? But aside from being gross, I'm not sure how a single cup of coffee with lemon in it would do anything.

    FYI: "Let's Cook Microwave" was published in 1975 by Barbara Harris, not 1862. The microwave was not invented by Percy Spencer until 1946, and did not become widely used until the late 1970's.

    I don't understand why someone would cook meat in a toaster. If you poured a glass of water in a toaster could you get electrocuted? Could the toaster catch on fire from doing things to it it wasn't meant to do?
