A better option than a regular toaster would be to use a toaster oven. I've used it to make grilled cheese if i dont want to pull out a pan, also have used it to cook and warm plenty of other things. Its safer and easier anyways.
I've used one too. A little cheese dropped and did smoke, so it's still better on the stove. I was just tired and didn't want to dirty pans in the middle of the night.
I had a toaster oven and I remember I put a pizza in it and I forget about it and when I came back the tip of the pizza caught on fire 💀. It just got a bit crispy, still bussin tho
Someone needs too step in and stop these Tik Tok food trends, I am not saying all of them are bad but most are bad. This and many other reason, are why I don’t have TikTok!
Honestly, it just baffles me how people ignore common sense with the excuse “work smarter not harder”. There’s a reason why people don’t already cook steaks in a toaster or making chicken with otc medicine.
For anyone who wants to cook anything other than toast in a toaster, haven't you already heard of the toaster oven??? It practically made to cook toast, grilled cheese sandwiches, roast chicken, steak and much more!
Okay, I'm sorry. But everyone knows, if you leave ANY appliance on and leave your home, there could be a house fire. That's why the, 'I gotta go I left the oven on' trope is a thing.
yeah I once tried to reheat a dumpling in a microwave... only two minutes & the whole kitchen was filled with smoke. Now I never leave the microwave working, unattended
I always reheat in short bursts of about 20 seconds each. Could also put thinks like meat into glass cookware and that tends to keep more of the moisture.
Not everything on TikTok is horrible. Some food ideas can actually be great... if you only follow the stuff that doesn't go against common sense. Seriously, do people not have any common sense that some stuff on TikTok is obviously a terrible idea? Or do these people also throw their MacBook and/or iPhone into the bathtub bust up/empty all their cosmetics into the water, and then roll their device in the mud to "customize it" like they saw on 5 Minute Crafts?
