1月のはじめに行ってきた美ヶ原にある「王ヶ頭ホテル」でのVLOGです。美ヶ原は去年の2月に一度日帰りでスノーシューに行ってまして（ th-cam.com/video/54HHypbqrlM/w-d-xo.html ）、王ヶ頭ホテルにはその時、休憩でお世話になって以来「一度泊まりたい！」と思っていたのでした。ほんと予約が取れなくて今年もあきらめてたのですが、偶然この日にこの部屋だけ空いているのを発見して、ラッキー。
食事も美味しく（我々にはちょっと量が多かったけれど）、周囲に何もないからこそ飽きさせないための各種体験ツアーやアクティビティ、古さはあるがおもてなしの創意工夫が感じさせられるパブリックスペースや客室、そしてフレンドリーで気持ち良いスタッフの皆さん。周囲のゲストもリピーターさんが多く、そのことに頷ける素晴らしいホテルでした。ぜひまた行きたい。
This is a VLOG from the Ougatou Hotel in Utsukushigahara, which I visited at the beginning of January. I had been to Utsukushigahara once last February for a day trip for snowshoeing, and I had wanted to stay at the Ougatou Hotel since I took a break there. We had given up on staying there this winter season because we couldn't get a reservation, but we found this room available and were lucky!
The food was delicious, there were a variety of tours and activities to keep us occupied because there was nothing else around, the public spaces and rooms were old, but they were very creative in their hospitality, and the staff was friendly and pleasant. Many of the guests around us were returning guests, and it was a wonderful hotel and no wonder. I would go back.

日本らしいホスピタリティに溢れる素敵なホテルですね。古さもありつつ、随所に洗練されたセンスも感じます。雪山を楽しむ仕掛けが沢山ですね。寝る前に見たらとても良いナイトキャップ的な映像と音楽で眼福でした。
そうなんです。古さだけで終わらずに更に新しさには産めない価値を作り出せてるところが稀有なホテルだなあと思いました😌
少し懐かしさを感じさせる雰囲気がまた素敵ですね！サービスも素晴らしいです（トマト私もダメです…笑)
