I'm not a fan of clicky switches personally, but your videos help a lot in doing an objective sound test between the different types of switches. I see a lot of keeb content creators on TH-cam making an assessment that I just made earlier("Oh, I'm not a fan of clicky switches, they're too loud blah blah blah") before fully reviewing them, which doesn't make it very objective - they already added the subjective part before even reviewing it. Your videos on the other hand are purely sound test driven. You reserve your score till the end of the video. Helps make a more informed decision in my opinion.
Thanks man! Always love your feedback! Yeah, I think that the all point of this channel, a purely objective sound test and presentation. I had some personal review at the end, but each one can make their own opinion about the sound on these sound tests. I’m not the person to tell which switch people should buy, but just to present them to help people to make their own opinion! Thanks again, I really appreciate! 😊
V2 switches has significant improvement over the v1, it's smoother, gives out deeper clicks, thockier and it doesn't actuate anymore accidently unlike the v1 (even thou it's 5g lighter but that's mostly because of the new golden long spring it comes with!). Been using it as my main switch on my Q1 now and I really loved it! ^^
When I finally pull the trigger on a mechanical keyboard (still waiting for a grey wireless full size hot swappable board), the switches I put in there will be a decision I use this channel to make. I love these videos, more people need to know about this channel.
i think they sounded the best with those mt3 caps. Really reminds me of the vintage boards, would say the same with SA but they just sound higher pitched
Love your videos and the quality! Any interest in doing the White Jade switches? I’ve seen many people claiming they are the most tactile switches ever.
Very vintage sounding with the MT3s. I love MT3 but with linears I tend to get a ton of accidental keypresses. Do you feel like accuracy is ok with the MT3/box white combo?
@@ClickandThock I have to try SA one of these days. I know they're kinda taller but they seem flatter, so that maybe that will help. But MT3s just sound and feel so freaking good. With the Oil Kings on my one board I could literally sit here and just listen to it for hours, but I'm starting to hate typing on it, as the oil kings break in. They're just too easy to activate for me, at least with MT3's and how I always hit the edge of nearby keys.
@@ClickandThock Ended up getting some box white v2's today and putting them in this board with MT3s. What a huge difference with accuracy (and sound lol). I love how the oil kings felt and sounded, but at least I can type without wanting to throw my board out the window and can keep my beloved MT3s. Not sure about this sound although they're better than the only other clicky I've ever tried, the dreaded cherry mx blue.
Personnaly, the white owl, I love the more agressive tactility! Having said that, the Box white v2 is one of the best clicky switches for the price, it’s a very good switch. If you like light clicky switches, it’s the one to go!

Would you mind doing a video like this for the new Kailh Speed Bronze V2s? I can't find a video on them anywhere, but I've been wondering if they fixed the biggest problem people had with the V1s: the switches actuate before the click. I have a feeling they didn't, since actuation occurs around 1.1mm, but I've been dying to know. Thanks for the video on the Box Whites!

Most underrated keyboard related channel ngl
Thanks! 😊❤️
My dude adds major production value to his videos. Congrats!
Thanks mate!
Damn I wasn't expecting this level of quality in a 4min video. Subbed!
Thank you!! 😊

Yeah, love the V1 , but these are even better IMO!
The editing quality deserve more views…your editing are awesome!
Wow thanks! :)
Recently installed these into my new board and it's pretty amazing. Really good improvement over the v1.
Yeah!! These are my new go to clickies!

Yeah! PBT plastic of the mt3 made them feel and sound deeper in opposite of tall SA with ABS plastic! :)
Those were my exact thoughts, I heard a vintage keyboard when they used MT3 keycaps. Makes me want to get a set.

Thanks!! Yeah! Should be possible in a future tactile series! Even more tactile than Clickies??
This my favorite clicky switch and I use those always on the alpha keys and the Red V2's on the mods.
Interesting thing to mixed clicky and linear! :O I will try that!
@@ClickandThock I have to add that I mean favorite switches with mx style switches. My all time favorite are beam spring as you know :)
Im planning to buy these, bit does in has a long stem to prevent keycap interference? My keyboard has northfacing pcb.
man this sound so good! Can you pls make a soud test for kailh bullet or pro sage switches?
Coming in the next weeks! :)

Love the sound and feel of the MT3, but have to admit that I always have some accuracy problem with MT3 profile...
