Oh hey, I actually know this one. Jack brown taught a couple of classes on it in my neck of the woods, an its a really nice lock. This video re-emphasises the little detail on the foot movement I forget. So yeah, nice little surprise to see.
Hi Stephan, I've trained BJJ for 7 years now and I'm only 29 years old and I already got arthritis and need hip replacement. I've been so sad & devastated that this has already happen to me in such a young age. The doctors is telling me that I will never come back to the sport and that I should not go back to the sport because of this. I'm really lost and dont know what to do, they are saying its up to me to live with the pain as long as I can or already do the surgery. Totally up to me, Have not been able to train for 7 months because of the pain. My goal has always been to be a black belt one day and now I got injured right when I was about to be brown belt. BJJ is my biggest hobby and the high point of the week. Any advice for a young bjj athlete with hip arthritis?? doctors are telling me that I should not train after I do the hip surgery aswell because it can dislocate and thats not good...
It's legal in all divisions where the regular ankle lock is legal. It probably shouldn't be, but it would be almost impossible for a ref to tell when it's being used.
Matthew 13:18-23 18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. 19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. 20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. 22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. 23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Maybe the "Lion Diet" is something you want to look into? All the best!
Lachlan Giles might be able to give you advice. Sport specific doctors are usually best qualified for advice as your local GP isn't always right.
Where can i buy the gulf rashguard?
Unfortunately it's custom made, so you'd have to get a manufacturer to make one for you.
What’s this guys name?? I can’t find it in the description or anything
My name is Stephan Kesting, and the guy teaching the ankle lock variation is Rob Biernacki
So it’s like an aoki lock regarding the placement of the ankle
Yes, and no. The Aoki lock is very much a rotational lock. This one is similar, but it’s primarily pronation, not rotation, that causes the submission
Mateus brings his hips close to opponents hips
Is this IBJJF legal, if so at which belt? 😊
legal at all levels

White belt onwards

Looks like Picard and Bones having some weird date in their uniforms!
That video is sooooooo long bro. I know you have a good point somewhere in the video but consider editing out most of the talking.
