  • 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX with full Akrapovic exhaust. Dyno and flash by Moore Mafia.
    Fan temps lowered (180 degrees f) and all ECU restrictions (including de-cell fuel cut) removed. Flashing occurs inside Road, Sport and Rider modes. Rain mode and cruise control limiter (85mph) are left untouched. All traction control functionality remains the same from factory.
    Interesting note on the Akrapovic exhaust - you cannot remove the DB killer (silencer) without drilling, tapping and replacing stock rivets. This exhaust system is too quiet from idle to 4K rpm imo - though any gear, at or above 5K rpm, I rate the sound a C+.
    After the tune and flash, the throttle response is perfect, de-cell fuel cut removal makes the bike a thousand times more enjoyable to ride, and the now unrestricted power is amazing.
    In March 2023, this performance upgrade cost roughly 3K USD (full exhaust system and parts, K&N air filter, installation, tune, and flash) and is well worth the investment.
    Note: I just realized that max hp number may actually be 140, not 133 as that was an earlier pull. Regardless, the thing is fast!
