@kileyclark4570 - Yes, this is such a great question! This filter has (2) 1/4" male connections that come from Netafim capped with a rubber insert, designed for the needle insert, as seen in the video. You can remove the caps, and then connect a 1/4" Coupler (Female Thread x Female Thread), and then permanently attach a pressure gauge. You will then be able to see the pressure differential in real-time. If you end up doing this, please send us a picture, I'd love to see it! -Andy
This is a great question, Jon. The advantage would be to protect against a possible broken pipe. If a pipe were to break, dirt could enter the system. For this reason, the filter is best located at the zone valve, vs at the water source. But it’s not 100% necessary. -Andy
Can I put those pressure gauges on both sides without the needle and have them stay on the filter permanently?

I am having a difficult time removing the filter with the filter wrench. Do you have any tips? Should I shut down the water system? Thanks!
Definitely shut the water off. Other than that it just sounds really tight!
HELP....Why do I have water squirting out of those 2 pressure ports on the top of the fliter?
Not sure. I’d remove them, clean them, and reinstall.
