Dlow is goat. He is on different level and beatboxing for about 15 years. React please to zekka kickback battle compilation or dlow gbb 2021 judge show or his win compilation of gbb 2019
i had to pause the video right at 4:20 because what you said resonated with me so hard, and it’s exactly why I fucking LOVE beatboxing, and it’s because “this is more than music”. it’s something so profound and uniquely human, that hearing beatboxing almost never fails to make my head spin in disbelief that this is something we are able to do :)
It looks like he's using the looper, but he was battling a guy known for loopstation battles who also acted like using the loopstation but didn't. He was actually doing all the beatboxing himself. Loopstation battles require a different skillset, they're definitely not simple. You gotta know what buttons to push and also time stuff right. If one thing goes wrong, it spoils your entire piece so, please check them out too. They're allowed to use effects on their voice there so it becomes a different game altogether.None are harder than the other, they're similar but different skillsets.
Dlow the best in the game beatboxing since 2006. His Judge showcase on gbb2021 is a must watch! He goes trough al his beats over the years that video is goated trust me. Nice reaction you gained a sub from the netherlands 🙌💯
Btw at the round where he looked like he was using a machine. He wasn't actually using it. He did this cuz his opponent at the time did that too. It's kinda like "I can do this too". But yea everything that was done there was purely from his mouth and the machines were props
He's not actually using the loop station, the other guy he was against used it as a prop but didn't actually use it so his rebuttal he did the same thing but better.
You actually don't need any special weird mouth features to beatbox, anyone could learn it if you practice. Even I thought the shit I was hearing a year ago was beyond possible. But, I'm here today I can beatbox and do a lot of the sounds and combinations I thought weren't possible years ago. It's kinda like a language, you learn words then you create on whole sentence with the more words you learn. Only differences are words take longer to learn, but you don't have to give a shit about grammar, you could place sounds where ever you want it to be.
Dunno if you saw Zekkas SBX Kickback compilation, but many people thought he won the Kickback and not D-Low, it was a very close competition between the 2
Dude the beatbox isn't hard but it's hard at the same time Because it needs years of training, but at the same time with training, you will feel the difference and you will feel that you have become better, but with training and time I have been training for 4 years and every training day is getting better than the day before This is the secret of the beatbox
Im 1 year into beatboxing. I can create fun enough freestyle melodies with a lot of sounds to keep myself entertained but against D-low's 15+ years I am TRASH. It is very hard what he's doing composition and technique wise but eventually we can all reach a level over the years that we're gods in if we keep practising :D Edit: that machine using was a MEME, he never used the machines :D they were off and he just used them on mute while beatboxing all 100% from his mouth!
He didnt even use the loop Station. I can Do without but never tried with one so it depends what u learn I think both is the same difficulty but im not sure
As to wich is harder? Depends how good the loop artist or the beat boxer are… It’s hard to argue that what saro does is harder than what d-low does… But you could also say that what NME does on loop is harder than mr wobbles making an Uber video… In the end difficulty is not the top metric in how good it is
Codfish 2018 compilation is another good one.
I will check it out , BEATBOX is something else hahah
And codfish is a Aussie like us haha also his 2019 compilation is good to but he won 2018 gbb so
