Hard call, i’ve done a lot more miles on the Hovsco… from when I did the Liverpool to Leeds cycle.. I’m thinking of selling my Eleglide m1 as it doesn’t get used no more and its a waste for it to be sat in the garage.
@@callumboyd2781 Hi brother! How's your Eleglide M2 hanging on so far? Do you reckon it was worth buying? I'm thinking of getting one as it seems the best bang for my limited bucks. And do you reckon you can fit mud guards on it? Thank you!
@@marcellocapone4925 I am very happy with it , not a bike guru by any means but for the price it's far better than another I got for more money and sent back.I can't see any reason for being disappointed.
@@callumboyd2781 Thanks! Did yours come with a throttle? I now see that the M2 and M1 Plus bikes do not come with a throttle on Eleglide's website, only the Citycrosser does. But on Geekbuying (currently out of stock) both the M1 Plus and the M2 come with a throttle - as you see on youtube videos. It's a bit confusing, and I'd certainly like to have the option. Cheers!
This looks exactly like my Hiland Rockshark, minus the headlight. It has a 350-watt motor and I got it for $519 last December from Amazon. I know that the limit in the U.K. is 250 watts, but how would police know the difference?
Got one of these. It literally took me up a mountain in Scotland, (logging trails). Very good bike, but the battery proved a little fragile. Started playing up after 90 miles.
@@Bronzed-adonis yeah it failed completely with less than 100 miles. I replaced the battery, so far so good but I’m not over confident it won’t happen again.
@@Bronzed-adonis not at all. The battery warranty was only for 3 or 6 months, I forget. They offered a discounted used replacement but I had to post the old one back to china. Wasn’t worth it. Could be I was just unlucky. Battery aside, it’s a good bike.
They would have to go down in price for me to even consider buying one as it would mostlikely get nicked. I once had to walk 2 and a quarter miles when me and kids left our bikes in our local town came back to mine not being there so long walk home
lil tip .... wear yer hat backards and it won't keep flying off ... hopefully the law will change to 20mph eventually as ebikes become more commonplace 😉
Hi,if it was your cash would you go Eleglide M2 or the Hovsco A5 ?Saw your first impressions vid and it looked good

Yet another great video mate 👍 I just had a couple of days camping, just what I needed 💪 take care Liam and God bless you mate 😊🙏🙏
Glad you enjoyed it Colin 😊 back to proper camping videos next few weeks 👍🏼
love my M1 + love it so much i bought the new M2 and now myself and my son have fun on the electric bikes, well worth getting one of these bikes
Alway rode a normal bike but since my hip replacement I’ve been thinking about an e-bike, continue the great work mate 👍
They are great for them reasons mate, will certainly help you out after the hip replacement.
Thanks for the video - How much does it cost for a charge - and how many miles does it give you.
I'm looking to get one of these electric bikes. I'm an active 66 year old - just retired.
Great review. Thanks.
can i upgrade this bike with adding a new battery, like speed wise?
Love that you're getting into bikes, the classic 'can I have a go of your bike' then runs of with it hahaha.

some times the pads glaze over just take the pads out and give them a light sand with fine sandpaper it will solve your problem it always works for me
Are the handle bar height adjustable
When my legs can no longer get me up mountains then an Ebike will!! Great channel BTW.

I want one but keep hearing this same comment was it really done after 90 miles for u

Thanks bro did they give u a free replacement battery

@@lorez8388 fairplay thanks for the info
Sounds like your brake caliper needs centering properly or you got a slight bend in your disc
Only used normal bikes so I'm not sure about E Bikes but its probably going to be the future and the bike does look good 😊
Nice one mate.
Keep looking at e bikes and don’t want to spend a fortune that looks really good.
Cheers Graham
0:13 scuse me can i steal your bike haha
😂
I use a normal mountain bike but I think ebikes are great. My mate has medical issues but an ebike means he can come out on the trails with me.
You should look at angling the brake levels down a little as it will be easier to use the brakes
What password do u put in the app when connecting
Either 1234 or 0000 👍🏼
Great mode of transport. But is it the exercise you need.
Try spraying some disc brake cleaner on your discs and pads to stop the squeaking
Good thing you said no to those little chavs. They would def trying to mug you.
Just been through Judy woods ! No electric needed !!
Muddy to fxxk though
Wibsey -shelf - coley - Norwood green - Judy woods -Wibsey
Loved it , not bad for a 61 year old !!
Ride a normal mountain bike but can see the use for them for people who wouldn't be able to ride trails without some form of assistance etc
Lovely bit of kit

nice thanks for video
0:13 Bloody scranner trying to nick your wheels!

Bro. It's peak wattage is beyond approved limit.and is not legal
Yolo bro 😅👀

Isopropyl alcohol will clean the brakes
