You got to think about it like this too if a actor is not having you to be angry at its character they're not doing a good job. Just like let's use wrestling for example when wrestlers using their characters if the crowd is not reacting to them they're not doing a good job if the crowd is not cheering for them or booing they're not doing a good job
You just understand the formula to writing a story. I do the same I can usually predict how a movie will go at the beginning of it. 👍

This should have been a franchise, it has so much potential their chemistry became natural and the story was unexpected it reminded me like rush hour they don’t like each other at the beginning but then became partners! It had a good chance to be one of the best but don’t know why they didn’t continue? I guess Bad boys took off or National security was meant for just 1 movie but it’s underrated

Yeah! This one wasn’t it, especially when compared to other Martin Lawrence movies. In fact, both leads have done better work. I remember going to the theater to see this one and feeling like I was watching a “made for tv” movie, but on a bigger screen eating better popcorn. This was the 2000’s version of “Armed And Dangerous “, with John Candy. That movie didn’t work, so I don’t understand why Hollywood didn’t learn the first time. 🤦🏾♂️ 😊

Movies from the early 2000s always have that fun laidback charm about them even when they aren’t good movies their is something I can’t help but enjoy seeing them. I definitely agree that Martin is a little much in this movie. The character is quite a jerk for no reason.
