Awesome - I had absolutely no idea this came out. It'll be great to have more road cars in rF2. It certainly can't handle any worse than the 911 cup car 397 just released!
Porsche 911's are my my favourite car in any sim! Nice work to the devs, looks like it handles great! The sound in cockpit is pretty bad tho, but i'll admit i'm super fussy and always replacing sounds (in Assetto Corsa).
Dude, how do you drive with the on screen wheel being so far disconnected from your physical wheel?! Its not even close to matching. That would drive me nuts!
MySimRacer lol, I actually have no issue with them. rF2 mods tend to not sound as good as some other sims, and with those expectations in mind I’m okay with how this one sounds.
It's funny how this handles better than S397's Cup car which drives like on ice. Only complaints - onboard sound could be better and there was some heavy vibration for me on this track on straights, like going over kerbs. A constant brrrrrt when wheel is not moving. My wheel is TS PC Racer.
@@2ndLastJedi Then why it's so different from every other car in rF2? ACC Cup car is not sliding that much either. Maybe you can share a setup? I don't change anything in most sims, and I heard that default setup of Cup car is wrong...
@@vincentvangogh4174 maybe ACC is wrong? I don't know all I know is I love rF2 version. If you look at my videos I have a couple with the Cup car in rF2 and I show my setup. Leave some feedback on the videos if they help at all.
I used the free one in AC and made a hotlap with it, it's on my channel. I'd be interested in watching you trying to break the record around the nordischleife
Yes, for sure. When I do reviews, I try not to change from the stock setup. I like to get an idea of how the developers intended the car to handle. But you're right, if I were to try and post decent laptimes in this Porsche, I'd need to have a look at the camber angles
When I tried this I thought the FFB feels really off with some weird vibration that seems to be out of no where compare to other cars in rF2. Maybe I'll try it again....I thought the DPi mod from them was ok but this I had a lot of issues with....
John Elliott I think everyone has trouble with the handling of a Porsche in sim. For me, I resign myself to foregoing corner entry speed for corner exit speed. Once you get those front wheels pointed down the track, it’s pretty easy to give it full beans. That’s an advantage versus most cards on the grid
Is there a mod for brake glow in rfactor 2 ? My brakes dont seem to glow . What am i doing wrong ? . By the way the porsche is incredible ..just downloaded it from RSS .i agree the sound is a bit of a turn off but the physics are a WOW factor.
oli robert I believe it’s related to the minimum steering force or minimum steering torque. Try and either adjust the setting in game, or with the wheel’s software
If RSS would learn how to make a decent tire model they would have some amazing mods. Their DPi mod is so close to being great but the tire model just isn't up to rf2 standards.
@@BuxWV149 thanks. ah it was my mistake, It was giving the premium MediaFire prompt when I tried to download the complete folder for each item including the skin templates. I worked just fine when just downloading the single .rfcmp file.
DonZ meuheu put the file in your steam file rfactor2 package open your sim go on content its on yhe laucher check the unistall mod click on porsche and install
RF2: a story of wasted potential: I was really looking forward to the new UI and online competition system but it doesn’t look anything closer to a proper trigger to increase community interaction and partecipation.
Didn't you do a video a month or so ago saying you wasn't posting anymore videos? A little annoyed if I'm honest, because I enjoyed your videos, and now it seems as though it was just a pr stunt, so can't watch your videos seriously anymore. At the point of unsuscribing
Dave Terry Just leave then and let this man do what he want. Who do you think you are to tell him what to do? He wanted to stop because the time it takes to make vids but because a lot of people had nice reactions he didn’t stop completely. Just less (editing) Shame people like you keep bothering him.

Hi Mike glad you're still around. Keep up the good work.
burdine estep thanks so much! I appreciate your kind words
Thanks Mike, a great plug for the most under appreciated sim out there. Awesome tyre model
Yet another great mod that I wouldn't have known otherwise. Thanks Mike!
i guess it is kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good site to watch new series online?
Thanks Mike! It's content like this that make you invaluable to the sim racing community.

Thanks for sharing this mike :)
Just needs an interior sound upgrade... great work
Pintaza!!!!! Really good looking!!!!!
I feel something is off with the sounds. Ill have to try it myself but the sound is slightly dissapointing.
Felixeur that’s perhaps true, but honestly even if it were slightly off, the fun factor of the car far outweighs any sound faults
I have to agree, car looks fab, but sounds are like an 8bit computer game
MySimRacer lol, I actually have no issue with them. rF2 mods tend to not sound as good as some other sims, and with those expectations in mind I’m okay with how this one sounds.
Just buy the gt3 challengers pack 👍🏼
Nice vid Mike, thanks.
Andy Holmes my pleasure! Thanks for watching

The Cup car is amazing, if they made this half as good as that but with road tyres I'm stoked.

@simRacing604 what is your F.O.V mate
thanks for video
Real wheel steering like the original?
I used the free one in AC and made a hotlap with it, it's on my channel.

Interesting heat trace on the front tyres, a little extra camber required

Mike did you use default setup for that lap time you got ? Im giving it all i have and still 7 secs away from 2:00 .
awesome intro :o
hi where you get the app tire?
I have the t300rs but it just doesn't work right with rfactor 2
The wheel inputs don't match with what's going on in the game
Can anyone help me?

I have such problems driving Porsches - except this model's cousin, the '911 RSR GTE, but I think that's because it's mid-engined.

yea Rear engine, more oversteer. its totally different car to handle. Drive them with different style.
I wish rF2 had as many road cars as Assetto does
It would be nice to have a link that’s NOT a Facebook link.
What if that doesn’t exist?

tHANK YOU!
I dont know why i have a t500 and the wheel is shackin if i put the steering in center when it turn is ok any idea?
Is that for all cars in rF2, or just this Porsche?
SimRacing604 oh sorry forget to mention its only the porsche and i put down car specific ffb to 0.65 and put ffb minimum torque to 3.5
Its only when the cars is movin and in straight line
oli robert I believe it’s related to the minimum steering force or minimum steering torque. Try and either adjust the setting in game, or with the wheel’s software
Thanks to you i will check again but i have the same conclusion thanks for all the anwser really appreciate

Jt7166 you should try this one. I find it more in line with rF2 standards than the DPi cars
@@SimRacing604 not a big road car guy, but I'll give it a try.
I must be missing something, I usually am 😁 the download link form the FB page appears to require payment to get the files or?

Thank you very much for your answer:) Everything works now. Yeeee
Really happy that is work for you i will try that mods tonight after job.

It’s missing auto blip?
GT SIM RACER interesting. The rear wheels don’t loose traction on downshifts normally
Certainly a super Mod but I haven't Facebook for download it ...😪😪
Great vid again Mike.
Is that new GT4 pack on your radar btw? Should release soon.
