Hi, yes they are but there are also local rickshaws that are quite accessible.

Did you book the bus tickets in advance? Or were the buses available then and there?
Hi, I booked the bus ticket on spot at the depot, it is easily available until seats last, so arrive early to secure the seat.

Actually Pondicherry has an airport. It has direct flights to and fro from Bangalore and Hyderabad

How do u roam inside auroville? By walk ? What was the distance between the places ?
Hi, inside Auroville no outside vehicles are allowed so we have to walk almost everywhere.
If I can't drive or know how to operate a scooty will I still be able to get around easily?
There are auto rickshaws that are available however minimum fare is very high.
