The black trimming looks nice. Also very practical for cleaning purposes as white will catch dust and build up whereas black can be very forgiving.

To not be in your home when there are renovations going on is a blessing, I remember I was 14 when my dad extended our home wuh God it was dreadful, exhausting and lots of stuff, but once it is all finished I is worth it.❤❤❤

Almost on 60k🎉. I had kitchen renovations done in December thinking I had planned well and would even have change, my shock at the additional expenses😫 but the joy I feel now looking at it is worth it❤

The cornice made of polystyrene is actually really good. It’s also water resistant and doesn’t wear due to moisture. getting the one with wood would mean you have to replace it overtime. You can just paint over the polystyrene.

Hi Zizi. You and hubby are really doing amazing! Reno’s are so expensive and stressful but worth it in the end.
I got the shock of my life when I learned that cornice is actually made of polystyrene when we were renovating. It looked so cheap to me aswell. I actually cried about it that day because it was installed already and money had been spent already. Thing is we usually see it all painted and think it is made of wood or something expensive when it’s not. Once it was painted it looked amazing.
The black skirtings and doors with that wall paint colour? Chefs kiss 👌🏾 you’re doing a great job.
