Hi guys! So I bought Aura 2 a while ago when it launched, and I finally decided to make a video about it because it's a fantastic Volumetric Lighting & Fog solution for Unity. It can make your game looks so much better! P.S. Before making this video, I've moved from Shadow Play to OBS for video recording and from Movie Studio Platinum 17 to DaVinci Resolve 17 for video editing. So I had to learn new editing software to make this video.
Thanks for this tutorial I had some free time away from my project and decided to watch this tutorial before adding aura 2 to my project. I have had used it before but it has been a while. I like how the effect has no baking so I can create "weather" storms in my game easily.
Used this just the other day. Good video and nice little sample scene too. Honestly, the results from this video in standard pipeline ended up looking better than when i spend 3 hours in HDRP trying to make volumetric lights and sun shafts.
very helpful. Thank you for this. The actual developers should give you a nod for actually explaining how to use their asset. During this video I found myself saying.. "Oh... That looks amazing.. Wait whats he doing.. no.. That looks amazing!.. Wait whats he doing now..." for 20 minutes...
Excellent tutorial. I have finally gotten a good understanding of Aura2. How about a tutorial on a night scene showing light shafts on pole lights and other examples.
Its not working in my project. Does the scene needs to have baked light, or it works with real time lights? Also, it need this postprocess package that you downloaded, or the standart URP volume works?
I really enjoyed this tutorial and the way you explain things, great job man. I have a question, what asset would you recommend to make volumetric lighting in URP? since aura 2 doesn't support it. I'll be looking forward to more of your videos!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed my tutorial :) I've found this Volumetric Lighting solution for Unity URP and it's very cheap and very new: bit.ly/3QapM2J
Can you please do a single model turorial, maybe a cool hat or something. I am a beginner at blender and want to learn from you because your tutorials are amazing.
Have you seen my beginner game asset tutorial series where I show how to make a barrel model from start to finish? th-cam.com/play/PLQk3p-aJsSWTKKmuFwnzEVaf3ovKIg1jx.html
Well in that case Unity HDRP has built in Violumetric Lighting solution inside Unity. But that would mean you need to use HDRP and I'm sure that HDRP Volumetric lighting is heavier on performance than Aura 2.

I have problem. My light shaft on big distance skip part on start. How fix that? Thank you.

Very cool! Finally an "updated version" to your old tutorial

Really nice looking scene and great tutorial. I have Aura 2 but haven't spent the time to learn how it works. This video is very helpful. Thanks!
You and UGuruz are live savers!
Liked and subscribed!
Please keep your tutorials up! Really interesting channel ;) I'm glad that I fount your channel!
Thank you, Brandon!
Great tutorial. Thanks.

AURA 2 doesn't support URP if remember correctly. And I'm pretty sure that Lights needs to be realtime. Sorry, it has been a while since I used it.

@@LMHPOLY Yes I did that tutorial, it was great help
Please make a price of persia like low poly scene pleaseeeeeee
I'm a really big fan. Your work is astonishing.
Do you need post processing enabled inorder for aura 2 to work?
Nope. Post-Processing is used to improve the final look of the scene.
Hey man! Could you make a tutorial about setting up lights and scene in blender? That would be very helpful because i love your renders style!
Hey Sirocc!
For this same scene right?
Well I could try, but I'm pretty sure it won't look exactly the same as in this video.
i did evrything but nothing happend . aura not working
is support for urp?
Nope. Only Built-in pipeline.
You can find all of the info about the Aura 2 in the Unity Asset Store (link in the description)
@@LMHPOLY ok can u make it support urp?
@@PhoenixSS I'm not a developer of Aura 2. I just bought it and made a tutorial about it. You should contact the developer on the Unity Asset Store.
Aura 2 looks great, but what about performance issues?
Please make a tutorial for open world, the sun is huuuge
Aura 2 can works in URP?
Nope, It has support only for the standard Unity pipeline.
can i use it in vrchat?
You should ask the Aura 2 dev about that stuff. As far as I know, it does have VR support, but I'm not sure how it would run in VR.
@@LMHPOLY oh k
does it work on unity URP
This line is from the Unity Asset Store Aura 2 page "Aura 2 does not support SRPs, LWRP, URP or HDRP."
Is it optimised for mobile??
Iirc it doesn’t support mobile
Nope.
@@LMHPOLY thanks for your reply sir 😊
Next up: Blob "Fake" shadows for URP.
👇🏽 If you agree
What if I’m a cheapskate ?
Any Alts?

Aura 2 is, at the time of writing this, 50% off so it's cheaper than usual
Sucks that this doesn't support consoles, only PC.
