    Just bought a 2006 1200 , same fairing. Sincere thanks for this, only took me 15 minutes to fix my non working dip bulb.

Saludos!!🤘

    Great video again, thank you. (This is Buck btw may sons been playing lol)
    Luckily on the 1200N we don't have that fairing issue.
    Well explained though and hopefully the light will stay on after hitting a few bumps 😁

      Cheers Buck, fingers crossed on that connection, thanks. Of course I don't have that issue any more on my 1200S either!

    Great video !! I have has the same problem on my bandit, the problem isn't at the light... It was at the right pipe that control start engine, inside it make bad touch. Try It!! Hope your problem was the same.

      Cheers Ivan, just keeping fingers crossed on the dip beam - that's going to be tight space to get into if I need to fix the connector.

    Nice job. I just noticed the low beam has blown on one of the headlights on the FJR. Could you pop round and sort it out for me please. Thanks mate.

    Probably worth fixing the bulb wiring prior to it vibrating loose, down some dark country lane, when your going the "national speed-limit" lol

    • @MotoMirius
      @MotoMirius  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Picky, picky. Yeah lol, it's on the list to be done, thanks GT. Although this bike never leaves the streetlights, a non functioning light is illegal and just gives people more reasons "not to see you." And I don't want to leave a ticking time bomb for the next unsuspecting owner.

    Sir I have Suzuki bandit s 1250 2008 can you plz let me know the sizes of all the bulbs I want to change with hids

    • @MotoMirius
      @MotoMirius  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, bulbs vary by country and by exact model. For example both H4 and H7 are listed for the UK for your year and model of bike. I would suggest you remove the bulbs in your bike and check what is fitted. Skäl. David

      @@MotoMirius That is the best way. I completely agree.

    LED's are definitely the way to go David, I swapped all on my last 3 bikes, less power consumption, and so much better than Xenon bulbs, much more illumination on the road ahead too. Not sure if its a trick of the light, but your front brake fluid reservoir looked empty?

    • @MotoMirius
      @MotoMirius  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers Chris. If I decide to keep the bike for any length of time, I'm certainly going to be swapping the sidelights back to LED - maybe a bit better quality than what was in there before. I'm not overly fussed about the illumination - It's very rare nowadays that I venture beyond streetlights in my regular riding. Now you've made me paranoid - I'm going to have to check! Cheers.

    Great video! Do you know what size/model the white side lights were, I can’t seem to find them for mine? Many thanks

    • @MotoMirius
      @MotoMirius  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks. These do vary according to model and year, but the OEM part number for the side light bulb is 09471-12216-000 so you can run a search for that - it's just a generic push fit bulb 12v 5w. Skäl David

    A bit of a faf but easy to do. Shame about the connection. Is Damage sat waiting for repairs?

    • @MotoMirius
      @MotoMirius  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very true Dave, fairings make this stuff so fiddly. Damage is fine, still awaiting repairs to the crash bars which I can now do, but off the road just for the moment as I've just ordered chain and sprockets as the chain has developed a tight spot which was noticeable when riding. I did finally get good use of those tyres though over the last couple of months - builders have made the back garden into a battlefield and Damage was the only bike I could get through the mud!
