    Yeah rather interesting seeing more get into glass pads lately. I've been using Skypad for a while, 3.0 XL and it's a nice, I've heard they may consider making control one but yeah.

    I counted 60 frames for razer (the video is 30fps clearly but youtube says its 60 so I measured 60fps - actually passed between 59 and 61) from boardzy letting go of his mouse for the base of the mouse to reach the bottom.
    70 frames for the other pad to reach the bottom of the razer - seemed to just get stuck for longer at the start.
    To REACH the 5th white stripe along the right edge (from the veiwers perspective) on the top of the zebra pad the razer took ?27?ish and the zebra pad took 28? I think - this was much harder to measure.
    Frame 1 was counted as the first one where it was clear boardzy let go of the mouse.
    This measurement doesn't mean anything though because baordzy was holding the pads by hand lol
    #
    P.S. make your damn mouse pad bigger razer, who the hell do you think is using this pad?!? Its low sens gamers, boardzy says he uses 37cm/360 with a 6cm wide mouse he'll get 39/37 * 360 = 380 degrees of rotation.
    If he starts PERFECTLY in the centre of the pad - BARELY enough for ONE singular 180 which you obviously do a LOT espeically when building 90s etc. in games like fortnite but even just fast paced games where things that need your attention could be anywhere like overwatch.
    Razer would have my money in a heartbeat if it was 50cm+ like the skypad 3.0, that small amount of extra space makes a massive difference - you can play at a >10% lower sens (because the more you swign your arm the more curvature you can get which exponentially increases the distance you can get on your mousepad) and you don't really have to go anymore than 50cm as your arm can't really even use the extra space as it starts to rotate too much.

    Having gone from the Skypad 3.0 to the Atlas. I found the Atlas to have more control than the Skypad, its odd that you found it to be the other way around.
    Do you not think that glass pads are good value for the longevity and quality of life they provide versus an Artisan?

    • @boardzy
      @boardzy  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      What skates do you mainly use? I tested with tiger ice and stock feet for the most part. And no I think they are worse quality of life compared to standard pads without a doubt, they can be a better value long term but very few people actually get their moneys worth by using them for years on end

    • @newdev76
      @newdev76 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    I used to have an Icemat 2.0 Black and swore by it - you can't get anything more consistent than glass because it doesn't wear out or distort in any way, and it's very easy to clean. Only issue with the Icemat is that it ATE Teflon mouse feet because the frosted surface was quite rough. I love the Atlas but it's very expensive for what it is - just a piece of glass with a rubber mat underneath.

    I can recommend you this one gaming mouse pad, I have the same and I like it. The DREAM MACHINES Pad L offers gamers a durable, non-slip rubber base, stitched edges, and a smooth surface that's compatible with both laser and optical sensors. The waterproof design protects against spills and ensures longevity. It's a must-have for gamers seeking optimal speed and control.
