Omg. GIRL. 👏🏾 I have been on YT looking for a simple, WELL EXPLAINED AND DEMONSTRATED installation tutorial. THANK-YOU, plus the 2 in one of installing the loc and wrapping at the same time. 🤯 I told my husband, "Oh, this lady is a genius!"
Loved that video. I'm new to doing loc hairstyles for my daughter and neice and the STRUGGLE WAS REAL🥺 It took me forever to do just one loc. I appreciate you for sharing.
Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. What's the take-down like? How long to doing and how long to take down? Any hair loss when taking down? Your end result was beautiful!
this was a good tutorial. I definitely felt that comment when you mentioned the hair curling out the braids.. you made this look EASY. totally going to try this method.
Yes you have to know..when doing theses styles you will feel the burning in your arms and you will be tired ..but put some music on. Or play a audio book and keep moving take 20 mins breaks until you finish it.looks good thou
You can crochet some more wrapping hair through your roots and then wrap down. Almost like a retwist. I would recommend cutting the wrapping hair in half though so you don’t have to waste time rewrapping over previously wrapped hair. It might cause the takedown to be more difficult. In the future I can post a video on a soft loc touch up.
I think twisting them would be okay. You can also add a rubber band to the root to make sure it doesn’t slide out. Then you wouldn’t have to do the twists at all, just parts.

Literally putting faux locs in my hair rn and looked down and have the same shirt on
Use a plastic beader instead of the metal crochet hook! So much gentler and less of a headache
A Winner...NO DOUBT! I will try this!

Fantastic! Thanks for carefully explaining in detail! 🔥🔥
Looking beautiful as ever! This looks great :)
Heading to the beauty supply NOW. 🏃🏾♀️ty sis ❤😍
Yassssss Queen!!!😀🤎😊
How was the take down?
This was amazing thank you for teaching me ❤🎉
Beautiful done, how did your hair grow so long?
When you take these down, you just unwrap it and then undo your natural hair to get the loc and all that out, right?
I love this too much 💯💯❤❤
How many pieces of wrapping hair you’ve used per lock?
Just 1. If your hair is bra strap length or longer you may need to use 2 pieces.
What's the name of the hair you used for this beautiful tutorial
I know im going to sound stupid. If i wanted to do this on myself. Would it be better to braid or twist?
Love it 😍
Nice job
Love it.. great segment I’m going to install my own faux locs. Thank you for the inspiration. 13:03
Healthy hair ❤
first how did you go through the braid twice ? Then Why did you go through the braid twice to get the first knot?
Thanks girl
Thank you so much I really appreciate I just had to wacth you so i don't have to pay that $600 to my hair that is Trinidad money
how do you stop it from unraveling?
Oddly enough it will not unravel once you do the palm roll. The hair is coarse so it kind of locs on itself.
I'm gonna try this. I just tried to put some soft locks in,it was a total fail😫
How many packs of hair did you use please
Wondering the same
This is the easiest one l seen l want to try it 😅
When you get new growth how do you touch this up?
You can crochet some more wrapping hair through your roots and then wrap down. Almost like a retwist. I would recommend cutting the wrapping hair in half though so you don’t have to waste time rewrapping over previously wrapped hair. It might cause the takedown to be more difficult. In the future I can post a video on a soft loc touch up.
How do you take them out?
I see you went back to hair grease sis
I don’t know how to braid but I can twist
Is the twist ok?
I have watched this3 times because I need to get it right 😂
I think twisting them would be okay. You can also add a rubber band to the root to make sure it doesn’t slide out. Then you wouldn’t have to do the twists at all, just parts.
