Every wrap up you convince me to read longer books - I'm usually so intimidated by big books, but your reviews of lengthier ones really help get me over the intimidation to explore these more detailed worlds!
I stumbled upon your channel a couple months ago and want to thank you for getting me re-excited about reading! I used to go months without a single book read (except nonfiction for work) and this month I've read about 5-6, with another one of your recs in progress. I've read The Last Garden In England by Julia Kelly, The Well of Ascension by Sanderson, Daisy Jones and the Six by Reid, The Guest List by Lucy Foley, The Snow Goose by Paul Gallico, and Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. Loving it all!
So glad you enjoyed Caliban's War. I think it'd very representative of the later books. I just finished the final book Leviathan Falls so I'm happy to see more people catching up on the series
I’ve always admired your eloquence, but that has got to be the best non-spoilery review of The Blade Itself that I’ve ever heard. Love your chessboard analogy. I hope you enjoy the next books and give the audiobooks a try! I’ve got The Expanse books on my TBR and can’t wait to jump into that world! I think I’ll start after I finish The Great Hunt. It seems like they’ll be a fresh change in pace from the WoT books. Really loving them, but I don’t think I’ll be able to plow through the series.
I really appreciate how diverse your reads are. I, personally, am yet to see another booktuber who regularly reads books ranging from middle-grade to adult.
I can honestly say with the Blade Itself, I found Glotka absolutely hilarious. Sure, his POV can be disturbing but damn he's fascinating. Then again, I'm also a fan of a character that when people whisper their names, fear reins. And his character does that.
i'm typically a very silent watcher because i usually watch your videos on my tv and not my laptop so i never comment but i felt like i just had to for this wrap up since you mentioned the PTD concerts. i actually sat in the row behind you during the day 2 concert! it was especially funny to me because i was catching up on your content when i was packing my own trip to LA and then i saw you there fjdlskjfds i hope you had a good time at the show! definitely worth derailing the tbr list in my opinion
I'm so happy you are liking the first law so far ☺ and I have to thank you for getting me into jade city I can't put it down and have already bought the next one!
Recently re-read The Mask of Mirrors and I feel like its a book that's right up your ally when you are feeling a high fantasy with ballroom politics and con artists. The sequel comes out next week and I cannot wait!!
+1!! im glad to have found another person who LOVES the mask of mirrors like i do!! i've also always felt it was right up regan's alley and i think she did buy the book so hopefully she'll read it soon, and i cant wait for the liar's knot as well💚
The worldbuilding, the characters, the interweaving plots makes the Expanse feel expansive (ha! I'll see my way out). The novellas are also great reads. Providing more lore and backdrop and "origin" stories.
I'm almost certain someone has told you this somewhere, but in case they haven't, the narrators from the Wheel of Time also read for The Stormlight Archives and they are spectactular
Hi Regan! Have you seen Expanse the series? So curious to hear your review of it. I haven't read the books but Robbie and Avarsala are my favorite characters from the show and I know you loved them in the books. It's honestly my favorite show and I wish more people watched it!
Wait omg I’ve been a subscriber for a while now and it’s my first time hearing that Reagan is a BTS fan!!! 💜 I’ve always loved her suggestions especially the high fantasy books she recommends and I can’t believe she’s an ARMY too 🥺
Here's what I read in November Next year in Havana ❤ Circe ❤ The broken eye by Brent weeks Sunshine girl by julianna margolis her memoir ❤ Just as I am by Cecily Tyson memoir Reapers gale God emperor of dune ❤ Royal by danielle steel ❤ The firekeeper daughter ❤ Firestarter by Stephen king The light of all that falls Valentine by Elizabeth wetmore Gods and monsters Dragon haven by Robin hobb The kiss quotient ❤ My favorite reads have the heart emoji
i had some mixed feelings about the execution of the ghost bride, but i enjoyed choo’s writing style so i might give the night tiger a try. i’ve heard others talk about the blade itself and vacillated over picking it up, but your take on it has me sold!!
I started TDA finally, and I read Lady Midnight in November, which I loved. It was a bit long, and with Lord of Shadows and Queen of Air being so long, I can only imagine what the overall plot and mystery of the trilogy is!
In case you didn’t know, the expanse series is also a show on Amazon prime. My boyfriend had me start watching it with him, and thanks to you I found out it was a book so I told him we had to stop watching til I read it 😂
I love your filming setup, that chair looks so cosy and the bookshelves in the back -- ah! :') It's nice that you found Rand adorable and bumbling. I had the opposite experience, I found him unbearable and so annoying with miscommunication, denial and immaturity. BUT, not all books are for everyone so it's great you enjoyed it! For me I believe it's unfortunately where I'm going to stop reading WoT. Ah well, I tried!
hi there I read a total of 13 ebooks in November I read sherlock holmes the complete collection which has 9 ebooks in one box set I read spoonbenders and I read death& croissant and the man who died twice and I read the crossword murder but I bet you like holding a book rather than reading e-books on a kindle or on kobo but I really like when you do your reading wrap up at the end of every month for the year
First Law is one of my favorite series’ but it’s always so funny trying to sell it to new readers Me: you should read first law Them: ok, what’s the first book about? Me: well you see…😬
Ragen you should really read deathless by Catherynne M Valente if you havent already. it sounds just like the book you read but adult. Its Russian folklore and explores a bit Russian history including WW2. It reads like a fairy tale and its so beautiful i still think about it
Every wrap up you convince me to read longer books - I'm usually so intimidated by big books, but your reviews of lengthier ones really help get me over the intimidation to explore these more detailed worlds!
This makes me so happy!
I'm glad you enjoyed the blade itself when it comes before they are hanged it gets even better hopefully you enjoy it
You're going to love the rest of the first law series. It gets better with each book.
Ragans voice and the expressions produces a satisfaction. They always make me feel motivated.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
We both read the Blade itself in November! Had some of the same feelings.

I’m about a third of the way through The Blade Itself, and I’m really enjoying it! I look forward to finishing the book up this month :)

This is one of the best The Blade Itself reviews I’ve seen

@@hw-hv8qf It was one of the first things I read this year and still one of my favorites!! Cannot wait to see what everyone gets up to in the sequel!
@@LiteratureScienceAlliance same!! cannot wait to see how their journeys will continue after the ending of TMOM
Its been on my TBR!!!! Ugh need to read (story of my life lmao)

If you didn’t already know, the narrators from the wheel of time also do all of Sanderson’s audiobooks.

You’re so consistent! Thank you I love your videos 💗

I just started book 1 of the expanse series and I am loving it!
Since you watch so many tv shows I would like to know your top 20 tv shows... please make a video on that
Yay for being early! Love your videos so much🤎
Thanks for watching!
Fairyland sounds so cute 🥺

Do you use your Goodreads anymore? I’ve been checking in and the same books have been there for a while.

I love the video chapters

What book does the show cover? Just the first?
For WoT? The first 2!
@@PeruseProject yay!
Love you and your videos!!!! Such great recommendations 💗 Do you read physically or read audiobooks for larger books?
I mostly read physically but have been getting more and more into audiobooks!
@@PeruseProject lucky!! I’d love to learn how to read faster physically. The only way I can really get through books quicker is through audiobooks
BTS?? i love ur videos.. also a fan of bts??
I hate youtube, I'm in the middle of your wrap up and I get an 2,5 minute ad. Why?! I already watched pre-roll ads.
